My name on Betcoin poker is pokercoin. You could even get an account there and watch me play if you want to.
This week I am playing in the Mini Online Super Series (MOSS) that runs from August 14th-21st.

https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoin-poker-and-wpn-present-7700-btc-guaranteed-oss3-cubed
"There is 7,700 BTC ($4,500,000) in total guaranteed prize pools over 142 events, including three Main Events of 250 BTC ($150,000), 850 BTC ($500,000) and 1,700 BTC ($1,000,000). The top-4 finishers on the combined leaderboard will receive an 8 BTC ($4,900) trip to the 2016 Punta Cana Poker Classic in the Dominican Republic."

Will use STEEM from this post towards my tournament bankroll. Since there is no cost to you but your vote, you win some STEEM based on how well I do in my tournaments!

If I win less than my entry costs you will get a fraction of the STEEM I received from your votes.

Edit / added: Payout will be proportional to upvoters SP values. An example from first 8 upvotes will be posted in the replies.

However if I won more than my entry costs, then you will get then i you vote for me you will receive STEEM back from me for your vote plus a portion of my winnings! This was you and I will both make STEEM for working together and me playing poker well. You help me out and I help you out so it can be a win-win siuation for the both of us.

If this proves to be successful I will do the same offer deal for the next two poker series: the Online Super Series (OSS) and the Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS).

Thank you very much for your support! Got Meningitis last year and any support and assistance would help me greatly! Happy Steem-ing to all!

Also to note I am thinking of hosting a poker game in a virtual world and offering STEEM DOLLARS (SD) to the winners. Feel free to let me know if you or anyone you know is interested! Have some interest started not just enough to have a freeroll yet.

I have experimented a bit with online poker, and I will watch your progress with interest.

Good luck!

Thank you very much! Will post updates as well. Thought this might be an interesting idea to try out.

In BB, big blind with 99, board runs out with 3 kings, check call down to beat 88.
Then steal with 77
42,000 chips; 27,600 average stack size; blinds 275 / 550
57th out of 278 remaining
Prize pool now over $3,000 and more than top 150 places to be paid.

I wish I had easy access to online poker again, so instead I'll upvote you! :)
Good Luck!

Thanks @sykochica!
I was working on opening a poker room in a virtual world that uses bitcoin. Also thought about hosting games to be played / rewarded STEEm as well. If you and others may be interested. Generated some interest before in a possible freeroll for Steem Dollars. Willing to host a game anytime ten people are interested.

I would absolutely love a chance to play again. I had spent time on pacific poker, poker stars, and full tilt years ago, and the home tourney games ended as people moved away and changed schedules. I'm sure that myself and @giftedgaia would play.

This alone would probably drive some of my other poker friends to join, just for the poker.

If people have an idea on when they would like to play. I can set up tables in a virtual world where I also have some bitcoin poker players. We can have a STEEM cash game and/or a freeroll depending on interest and who is available at the same time.

Sounds quite interesting, I have participated in similar games on bitcointalk but with an actual payment. Upvoting is free, right? :) Anyways, enjoy my upvote and best of luck!

Upvoting is free. Or just a small portion of your voting power for the day. So maybe free but not completely free.

The way I see it as an investor this is zero risk. All it costs is a bit of dilution on your voting power which doesn't really hold value for the investor anyways. Is the payout going to be weighted by SP for each upvoter?

To be honest I am not exactly sure how I am going to do payout at the moment. If you or anyone else would like to provide information on the best way to do so to their interests of everyone let me know!

Well you need to decide if you are going to pay everyone equally or favor the whales that contribute more. Weighting the payout results would obviously make your post more attractive to a whale who's vote can drastically swing the payout amount. This of course will cause your minnows to get a little butthurt because they can't match the whale's contribution.

Personally I don't see a problem with weighting the outcome to attract more whale investment.

Dividing the payout amount with the total upvotes should give you the individual payments, im not sure if you can send SD to us just from username though. Or if there is a reason to award some voters with a bigger portion of the payout, than others.

Perhaps you should be more specific about how much you will pay out to the voters, depending on your position in the tournament. A percentage of your prizepool or something, to avoid disagreements.

Initially thinking for each upvote. This is ideal with small numbers. However if voting contribution and/or tournament winnings are big enough then I think it would be fairer to give extra weight by SP for each upvoter. If that becomes the case I will need to know how to find that information out as I have not done that before. I read about it in my travels but have not utilized it. This may turn in a time to learn about the SP voter weight and utilize it.

@contentjunkie re: "Is the payout going to be weighted by SP for each upvoter?"
Yes the payout is going to be weighted by SP, but also a small payment is going to be reserved for the smallest SPs to guarantee them a minimum payout.
The minimum payment for every voter will be first reserved to guarantee the low SP upvoters.
Then the remaining tournament winning pool will be divided up and paid proportionally relative to upvoter's SP.

I am playing as pokercoin on Betcoin poker in MOSS #1 & #4 Events right now!

Voters will paid out equally if the prize amount only small enough to do so. Otherwise votes will be weighed out and paid proportionately as long as the small voters get a small piece. That is my thinking if that makes sense. It is only fair that whales and more valuable upvotes get paid more accordingly because of their value that they have built up in the steem community.

I lost MOSS Event #4 twice after reentering after my first loss. That will be my own loss. Payout will be applied to tournament entries after the first payout of this post. Sorry for not being more organized about this. Will get better over time.

Please also note that all voters will receive a minimal payment. After minimal payments are calculated, the remaining tournament winning pool will be paid in relation to upvote SP power. Think this way may be fairest for the smaller and bigger voters.
First 8 upvotes proportional payout percentages:
(0.001 SBD each plus a percentage of the remaining tournament wins by upvoters SP values)
knozaki2015 .001 SBD+69.84%
nenad-ristic .001 SBD+28.73%
sykochica .001 SBD+1.06%
virtualgrowth .001 SBD+0.15%
contentjunkie .001 SBD+0.11%
tobythecat .001 SBD+0.07%
abanks1000 .001 SBD+0.02%
baldsteve1 .001 SBD+0.02%

What kind of tournament are you going to be playing in with such low stakes? I'm guessing this is online poker? Can we watch you play? I see a really good opportunity here for you to get a twitch following going. I'm interested in poker so I'd watch you play it live on twitch.

Tournaments on BetCoin poker. The MOSS series in particular this week. Anyone can watch me play on Betcoin poker. My user name there is pokercoin. Hadn't considered Twitch currently. Maybe I will if there is enough interest in me doing so. I will be playing mostly No Limit Hold and also Omaha as I play most any poker game. Buy-ins range from about $0.06 to $80. Will be playing the lower end buy-ins unless I happen to do well in these tournaments or other games since I play on a few sites.

Simply Great Information and Presentation

Upvoters currently have a 5% stake in my play in the MOSS #8 Event of $2,500 GTD (guaranteed) 6-Max NLHE, No Limit Hold Em $3.30 Entry fee.
$0.17 of $3.30 = about 5.15151 %
Upvote amounts will be posted in about a half our that reflect the first day payout and upvoter stake share %'s.
