RE: Does Anyone Know How to See The Power Down History of Someone?

in #steem6 years ago

If you want only the net withdrawal over all times, I guess it is the "withdrawn" in steemd.com.
If you want its distribution over time, and do not want to do it the hard way through steemd.com, you might want to write a program that does what you may have done if you did it yourself.
These are just my ideas, and I bet that there are better ideas, just because I have not programmed for nearly a decade, and my knowledge of Steem is lacking too.
I hope that someone else will have a better idea.
Instead of you I would have interjected in more knowledgeable people's threads, and tried to comment in their most relevant threads I could find.

Yeah, I had thought about trying to write a script myself. Wasn't sure how I'd want to do it or what the easiest way would be.

Just trying to see if a tool already exists before I might do something that takes up some of my own time.

Honestly, didn't know the Steemd category of withdraw existed. I've probably seen it and just never registered it or something and assumed it didn't exist.

Definitely worth looking at. Thanks for your reply!

Tried looking at withdrawn of Steemd and it doesn't seem to work. I have withdrawn before and it tells me zero. I know this other individual has withdrawn and it says his is zero as well.

My first thought is that you may have vested again all that you withdrew and it nullifies the net effect.
However, I suppose it is not the case.
It leaves us with 2 options:

  1. steemd.com is shit (it is the best blockchain explorer by far even if it is shit)
  2. It means another thing, like how much you withdrawn during your current withdrawal session or another thing.

Practically, it leaves us with the following choices:

  1. Program a solution from scratch, which I only hope to be able to do it.
  2. Keep searching for an existing solution

Instead of you, I would do the interjections.
I may do some interjections myself, but I recommend that you do it, because we may be familiar with different sets of people.

Definitely. I can try and reach out. If anything, just get a sub to steemsql
