What Do You Want To See For The Future Of Steem?
I'd really like to see what you guys want to see in the future for Steem. I myself want to see more social media functionality in terms of messaging and groups/communities.
I compare Steem to Minds with how it's further along with these features. I do realize they aren't as decentralized as Steem, but as a witness I really want to push for bigger and better things on Steem. I think it's important that we have the discussion for what we want to see and where we are headed with the platform.

Witness Communications Assembly

It is impossible to know which one will be more valuable in the future, because the value of anything is determined by human behavior. So if people in the future decide to buy/use SBD over STEEM, SBD will be more valuable.
The difference between SBD and STEEM is that SBD is similar to what a smart media token will be in the future.
Except the inherent inflation rate of SBD is significantly higher than Steem.

I believe STEEM blockchain would be practically mainstream that people would forget that they are making money while they are drawn away with pleasures on its platforms.
yeah if it can execute a perfect censorship resistant platform even without worrying about monetization it has its benefits

My feeling is that a decentralized annonymous Proof of Brain CAPCHA needs designing. Just to be able to tell the difference between bots and carbon based life would be a wonderful tool to offer SMT providers.

Well my personal opinion is that such a CAPCHA could be used to mitigate counterfeit steem production as outlined in a recent blog posting of mine.

In the context of steem mining it is my opinion that such carbon life form proof of brain upvoting should offer a greater reward than steem generated by non-proof of brain production such as via the upvotes of voting bots.

Yeah I'm with you bro .We need to incorporate the messaging and the group/community functionality into steemit.what's the point of calling it a social media platform if we don't have an in-house messaging network instead of conducting a majority of our communication using third party applications like discord or telegram.
Yeah if we could bring people back from Discord (where I see most communication for me) and onto Steem. We'd see a major increase in usage of Steem right off the bat
