Steem Power Down Slider Button; An Awesome New Feature
My love for steemit is growing by the day. The user interface (UI) is getting better and better. Hard working developers are building applications and including new user friendly features to the steemit interface, which we interact with daily.
So, I just discovered a new user friendly feature, the power down slider button. This feature is really good. It saves you powering down 1/13th of all your steem power (SP), giving you the freedom to chose exactly how much steem you need to power down per week. Below is a screen shot of the new power down slider slider button feature.

Steemit is like a child that grows every day with more amazing things to offer.
Absolutely true, @bat-junior. Moreover, the fundementals of steemit blockchain are hidden in the whitepaper and bluepaper. Unfortunately, many are not reading. They are only concered about how make some quick bucks. Steemit is a long term project.
You are absolutely right @maryfavour, many don't know about that. Like a friend will say "Steemit is a lifetime investment".
I will say it's a great add up to this platform, I seen and used this feature. I most say it is awesome........

Glad I could be of help ma, the new feature wont be of any thing to me. I am still a newbie and my vote is 0.01 😂😂 so why should I power down? I even need to power up before Saturday, too many things keep crossing my mind that I do forget it... Lol
Hahaha..., madam Glory, you are correct. Power down is not for you. I wouldn't advise any newbie to initiate power down. They should powering up instead. I can help remind you to power up before Saturday. Bravo, my sister!!!
Does powering up before Saturday have some significance with Steemit or SBD?
I think @sweetestglo-eu, stated that because the price of steem has dipped. The advise from experienced traders usually is , buy in the dips and sell when the value appreciates. hope to buy some too and power up. Thanks for your contribution, @thebrewster. Steem on!

Wow.... Thanks for sharing this @maryfavour. I am new here as well but I believe in retaining knowledge, that in a way also helps to evolve with growing trend and developments on the platform. That's another step in the right direction in knowing steemit.

Thanks for asking I been struggling with the fitness journey. Been dealing with some sadness in life and a void in my heart. There were two weeks of time lost where I was not mostly focused on it. Going do a weigh in later today at some point. I don’t feel confident about it. Even this week I have not been on top of record keeping and can only hope I recall how this week was. Which was not that great either.
How is your fitness journey been going?

Hello, my friend, @progressivechef! Yes, the discovery was really a great one. I received my power down of 50 steem some hours ago, just enough to pay for continued lease of delegated steem power (DSP) in my account. Honestly, you don't need to use the power down button now. On the contrary, you need to power up as much as you can. Thanks for your visit and support. Cheers.
