One Last Push for STEEM on Netcoins Contest, as Verge is Nearly 1,000 Votes Ahead!
We were ahead last night when I went to bed. We had about a 1,000 vote lead I think. But now, it's the opposite. Given that most Steem users are sleeping, it seems that the only way Verge can gain 1,000 votes and then 1,000 more is if they are using VPNs to beat us. We're a social platform with real users. How else could they beat us?
We have just over 17 hours left to vote and win back the 1 position!

- Scroll down to "Steem".
- Put in your email. Click on "VOTE". Do the reCATPCHA. Click on "Send Confirmation Email".
- Login to your email, and confirm the vote you cast by clicking the link provided.
Today is the last day. We have to put everything we have into getting 1,000 more votes, and then getting a good 1,000 more for a lead would be great!
Can we do it as a community, and show the competition that we're a social platform that acts together to move forward and get things done? Let's not fail at this task :) We can be the next decentralized token to appear in the revolutionary financial technology that Netcoins has made with their ATM software. More people can get to know STEEM and have easier access at directly buying the cryptocurrency with cash, debit or credit cards.

They are cheating and will be banned hopefully.
I think a good chunk of those votes will be removed eventually. Yesterday afternoon when I checkout out the totals, Verge had ~8400 votes but then when I checked back a few hours later they were only at ~7,900. I think they must be using a bot of some sort that isn't able to properly verify the reCAPTCHA portion of the voting process, so I think those votes will eventually be removed.
At least that's what I noticed yesterday!

If the recaptcha fails though, the vote doesn't go through. They are checking IPs for multiple votes I think...
Ah yes, I think you're right. That would make a lot more sense. Guess we've got to keep our fingers crossed while they tally up all the votes. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for an announcement!

Seems INS are more efficient in cheating - shocking ahead over 1,000 votes now.
They were behind all the time. But in the last hour they made like +3000 votes ;-) sounds legit.
let us see what the official decision will be and whether some votes are reduced for certain coins.

Yup, I think it's what's happening...
They are so obviously cheating. I just read someone's claim that 2000 of their votes came in under an hour. Hopefully Netcoins is smart enough to not get gamed like that.
Do they want a scam coin or Steem? Shouldn't even matter who has the most votes at this point. Verge's community can't compete with us. This is sad.
