Steemit emblem SUPER similar to that of another very well known organization
Just came across this, there's a striking similarity between the Human Rights Foundation Logo and the one that #steemit is rocking. Check it out yourself ...
Perhaps with enough engagement from the #steemitcommunity a loose association can form? What say you?
I think an association with HRF would be right up @dan 's alley; after all Steemit come out of the idea and motivation for a Mutual Aid Society! Nice find Hulk - maybe sometime in the future we can work to help people all over the world :)
Mutual Aid Society:
A benefit society, fraternal benefit society or fraternal benefit order is a society, an organization or a voluntary association formed to provide mutual aid, benefit, for instance insurance for relief from sundry difficulties.
This is exactly my point. Similarities are everywhere, but it's what we do with, and how we leverage them for the betterment of everyone that's the key issue.
There have been other similarities also found for other logos similar to steemit... we live in a world so big that even if you think you figured out something new yourself, somebody else might've already done it before you or made something very similar, without you even suspecting it.
What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
Surely. I'm just saying this may be an in to start dialogue between #steemit and the Human Rights Foundation. It would be a win for everyone. :)
As others have mentioned, this is obviously a coincidence ... I just thought that this may be an awesome avenue for #steemit #steemitcommunity to reach out to the Human Rights Foundation. I'm trying to build bridges here. :P
I like this idea, Steemit might be a way to distribute $ to different causes.
The first NGO joining here and opening an official blog, and posting, might be able to get huge amounts of Vote donations.
I think we have to think further about that !
