STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME CONTEST - SEASON 6 DAY 9 ROUND 2 - 650 SBD PRIZE POOL SO FAR

Yucky water or a refreshing drink? I suppose that depends on how the players chose to deal with it.
Not that all options get picked, but due to the Play-A-Long Pocalypse Game being run by @novaatebatman, I will be providing results for options.
DAY 9 ROUND 1 RESULTS
OPTION 1 – Try to run away without drinking.
Since this was a hydration round where players needed to successfully drink or they would die, anyone choosing to not even attempt to drink would perish.
Players who chose Option 1 are now dead. They can join back in next season if they wish.
OPTION 2 – Try to drink the water as is.
Attempting to drink the water as is was not a good idea. The water was contaminated with both toxins and bacteria. The toxins were not concentrated enough to be deadly, but the bacteria were lethal.
Players who chose Option 2 are now dead. They can join back in next season if they wish.
OPTION 3 – Try to boil the water for a while using a Magnesium Firestarter and then drink it. (For players with a Magnesium Firestarter)
Unfortunately, boiling the water did not exactly have the desired effect. The bacteria did die, which was good, but the toxins became concentrated to a lethal level, which was not good.
Players who chose Option 3 are now dead. They can join back in next season if they wish.
OPTION 4 – Try to heat the water until just before the boiling point for a half hour using a Magnesium Firestarter and then drink it. (For players with a Magnesium Firestarter).
By heating the water to the point of almost boiling, the players were able to pasteurize it. By doing so, the bacteria were killed without concentrating the toxins, rendering the water safe to drink.
Players who chose Option 4 safely hydrated and have progressed to the next round.
OPTION 5 – Try to use a Water Purification Tablet and then drink it. (For players who already have, or can manage to get, a Water Purification Tablet.)
The water purification tablets safely made the water drinkable.
Players who chose Option 5 safely hydrated and have progressed to the next round.
DAY 9 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
Being recently fed and hydrated, the remaining players are feeling rather good. Sure death and disaster surround them, but they are still optimistic at the moment.
POW! POW!
Gunfire rips through the quiet forest. The players had wandered out into a field on their walk and are now being shot at. It looks like two men with guns are on the edge of the woods, shooting at the players.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 – Try to run away across the open field to the wood-line.
OPTION 2 – Try to crawl across the open field to the wood-line.
OPTION 3 – Try to return fire to eliminate the threat, risking as many rounds of ammunition as necessary. (For players with a loaded weapon.)
OPTION 4 – Try to bluff the men by charging at them screaming, in an attempt to cause them to retreat.
OPTION 5 - Hold up the note high and shout, "Wait, I have an encrypted note for a young man!"
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.
IMPORTANT: The Backup Food Supplies are in one ration portions, which can feed one player and keep them alive for two days. Also, if for some reason you decide to change your choice prior to the 24 hour response time cutofff, please contact @novaatebatman to make sure you are registered under the correct option.
Also, please remember to include your inventory in your reply. Example:
I have gas, a magnesium firestarter, a NOTE, a PLANT FIELD GUIDE and a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition. I must eat by the end of Day 8. I choose Option 3 this round.
As always, please remember that all outcomes are predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of your are going to die eventually. Nothing personal.
PRIZE POOL
The current prize pool is 650 SBD. The total prize pool amount will grow each round until the game is over.

We choose Option 2
We have:
a rifle with 7 rounds of ammunition, a knife, a flashlight, a note (to give to a lucky stranger), a Plant Field Guide and water purification tablets. We need to eat by the end of day 10.
They missed us with the first couple shots, boy I hope they continue to be poor aim. We are on our bellies in the grass wiggling as fast as we can towards the tree line!!
You won't see us coming. So be friendly, and you'll see us briefly...as we move on ahead.
I have a Flashlight, Pistol (11 ammo), Water Purification Tablets, Note, Plant Field Guide and I choose option 2.
I have a pistol with 5 rounds and I choose Option 2. I have to eat by the end of Day 10.
Perhaps i won't get shot crawling.
Option 2--I actually did some research on this one, and getting on the ground and crawling is what military manuals recommend in these situations. They even train soldiers in it during basic training, apparently. I also read a couple of survival manuals that recommended this technique. Hopefully, it will work in Steempocalypse world. :)

I choose Option 2 this round.
In my inventory I have the following items left: an encrypted note and the the FIELD FOOD GUIDE. I must eat by the end of Day 10 (if I survive that long, that is).
Team Weaponless will go for Option 2 - Try to crawl across the open field to the wood-line.
The grass in the field looks like it might be long enough for some cover, we will try and crawl in between the grass and weeds.

I have a pistol w/8 rounds, a knife, water purification tablets, a plant field guide, and a note. I do not need to eat until day 10. I will go with option 2 to crawl across the open field. Hopefully the grass is really tall, so I can hide!

This was such a hard decision this round. I feel like its a 3 way tie for us between run, shoot or crawl and our guts are telling us to crawl. I hope all goes well for us. @papa-pepper I truly appreciate this game and all you put into it. I anxiously look forward to next round everyday and it keeps me and my brother ( @lokii ) in constant contact, so we thank you.

Good News, Everyone!
Everyone was able to eat by the end of Day 8. No one starved to death!
I'm still getting the trading situation all sorted out.
Due to real life needing to borrow me for a little while, I have not had a chance to figure out who may or may not have starved to death, and I have yet to begin working on Day 9 Round 1.
I will be taking today to work on those. Some of you still playing may already be dead, and I will let you know if you are.
I apologize for not having the spreadsheet updated. Sometimes this game gets really messy, and I really needed the recovery time from my recent expedition into the fray of real life.
I will have the spreadsheet updated as soon as I possibly can.

Day 9 Round 1 Deaths
I have yet to sort out who may or may not have starved to death from D8R2, but the following players died from drinking tainted water last round.
