New wiki page: Including images in your post (thanks to 2017 Roadmap this article will self-destruct in 5, 4, 3...)

Intro | Rules | Steem.center

Hi steemians! After almost the first month since the launch of our project to transform Steem.center in the wiki of all Steem related things, we have another new page:

The new page was born from the page Tips for formatting your post created in august by @hanshotfirst, before this project's proposal in rewarding wiki contributors with steem. Now we hope being an incentive to old wiki editors come back collaborating again.

Like the previous article Setting up a miner, we know this wiki page could become obsolete soon as the 2017 Roadmap plan to deploy in Q2 the free image host integrated with Steemit. This will permit anyone to drag and drop images from devices to any post or comment but until there the wiki page has listed some third party image hosting like @blueorgy's SteemIMG. The article brings all this info and also the option to use the mobile (and desktop) app eSteem developed by @good-karma too.

Other informal collaborations are tips to align, resize and optimal dimensions for image posts collected from steemians like @rossenpavlov, @pkattera, @ervin-lemark and @steemitguide. All steemians can continue collaborating informally sharing usefull posts like them or, if prefered, direct edit adding new links to the wiki pages Tips for formatting your post or Including images in your posts. Doing this way (see our Rules) you apply to become a new steem rewarded wiki editor participant.

Project's Balance

The new article author @wagnertamanaha joins @raymonjohnstone and @gutzofter, our project's first and second participants and will be included in the division of the amount collected this month here in @steemcenterwiki.

Right now the balance here shows 1.148 steem and all january's sum will be shared with current and future participants just after the end of the month. If you're interested, take a look in our project's introduction and rules proposed and join us if you like. Or just upvote and resteem this post to increase the collected amount as an incentive to actual and new participants.

Thanks and good luck for us all again!

Thanks for the update. As for the obsolescence - well, that's where wikis come into their own. :)

You're welcome! We agree, nowadays wikis equals encyclopeadia, that equals history, that equals obsolescence... Remembering that famous chinese quote, it's too early to say :-)
