Steemit continues to evolve. Lets have a look at who is making the Trending list on Steemwhales in the last 30 days and how they have gotten to where they are today.
How have these great authors gotten to where they are today?
I have been doing this post for several months and its interesting to see the people who regularly make the list, and how it has changed over time.

Each dot represents a post.
There are a few familiar names from last time I looked, but also a few new names. I must check out @sportsncoffee, sounds interesting.

I would have to say the general strategy is to post good content frequently and consistently. If you had a lot of spare money as in enormous amounts, a good way to get noticed is just to vote for yourself when posting a new blog entry. You would land on trending pages immediately since the Steemit trending algorithm seems to be mainly based on the total voting value of the post though this seems to only work well for people who have Steem Power in excess of around 100,000.
I am new in this platform. I never go to the trending list.
It sure is an uphill battle at first. You are doing well with followers though for such a short space of time. I am sure you will get there before long.

You can tell by the number of dots that these guys post a lot, increasing their exposure. That would be worthless though if there was no quality behind the posts. People just wouldn't follow and support them.
