Steem Payout PatternssteemCreated with Sketch.

Regular payouts on Steemit are a mixture of hard work and talent. Authors who get up 50 dollars a post or more usually write great articles, but they also have put a lot of work into getting to where they are today. It doesn't happen overnight.

How have these great authors gotten to where they are today?

Top Trending Authors over last 30 days

Here is how the payouts have tracked for this select bunch of authors since they started posting.

Each dot represents a post. You can see that practically all these authors post prolifically and have been at it for quite some time. There is also a noticeable uptick in April on all accounts which is a result of the increased value of Steem.

And connections. In fact I'd say that's the most important thing for regular payouts. Such is life, it's not necessarily fair but it's how the world works and it's certainly true in Steem. For that reason, networking is probably one of the most important things in Steem. I think it's accurate to say that virtually everyone who went to Steemfest now gets decent-at-minimum payouts simply because they made so many connections at that event.

Any new users can build connections through the platform, getting involved in initiatives, hangouts, contests, commenting on peoples posts, welcoming new users, giving help and of course attending Steemfest and local meetups to get to know people face to face.

If you haven't already check out the @steemfest account and sign up for notifications on this years Steemfest at https://www.steemfest.com/

Are you heading?

Definitely! I was really sorry I missed it last year, I just found Steemit a few weeks before and didn't make a decision fast enough :(

interesting ;)

steady growth

Thank you, great post.

does the dots include comments?

Each dot represents a post, an article (not comments) and the payout is the author payout value of the post.

Great work. From both you and the authors ;)

Thank you so much @best-pomchi-ever, unfortunately my steem pattern doesn't look so good yet :) , it's getting there though :)

What do you mean?! You write nice posts. You have a ton of followers, your posts do reasonably well, and you haven't been at it for ages. I think you have nothing to complain about :P

I wasn't complaining, when I do the graph for me I don't get as smooth and nice a Steem pattern as these guys. The Steem doesn't rise as far either but I am getting there :) And more importantly I am enjoying every minute :) and meeting great people. Thanks for the compliments.

Way more important ;)

Wow.. Someday, i can ecome like them.. Thats the goal..

One post at a time and you will get there!

All these users also have many followers and a high reputation which means that you have to be persistent, and make quality post that will make people follow you. They have done a lot of work on steemit and it is paying off. I like to see posts like this, because it can motivate a lot of people if they look at it in the right way.

Thats exactly why I was posting this. It highlights how much work these guys have put in to get to where they are.

We need to be patient to reach these heights, but persistence and quality will pay off.

We also have to remember that there is only about 75-80k active users on Steemit who comments and post. Just think about how lucky we are that we found this now. We have such an opportunity to gain a good following before Steemit goes mainstream.

That is so true. 👍 and its great fun being here too :) Win Win.

Cool post. Thank you for sharing. Upvoted and followed. Please follow back and check me out @starsteem when you have a chance. I will be doing a giveaway post in the next day or so, dont miss out. Cheers
