The announced move of Lasse Schøne from Ajax to Genoa has become a reality.

The Italian club confirmed the acquisition of a 33-year-old midfielder on the basis of a definitive transfer. Its cost was probably around € 1.5 million.

Schøne said goodbye to Ajax after 7 years of appearances in Amsterdam. His balance in the shirt of the Dutch team is 286 matches, 64 goals and 52 assists. With Ajax, he won 3 championships, a Cup and 2 Dutch Super Cups. He reached the Champions League semi-final with him last season.

For the Danish it will be the first opportunity to try their hand in one of the top European leagues. Before Ajax, he played only in his homeland and other Dutch bands - Heerenveen, De Graafschap and NEC.
