Last season of Mertens in SSC Napoli ?
Dries Mertens is seriously thinking about leaving SSC Napoli after the end of this season, La Repubblica reported.
The Belgian contract ends in June. Negotiations on contract renewal are not currently ongoing, so the player is looking for a new employer since July.
Among the potential directions for Mertens, the media mention RSC Anderlecht or departure from Europe. It can go to China or Major League Soccer.
The 32-year-old has been playing in Naples since 2013. During this time he appeared in 284 matches, scored 110 goals and recorded 68 assists.
