Van Dijk near to sign a new contract with Liverpool.
The Mirror daily reported that Virgil van Dijk has already agreed the terms of a new deal with Liverpool FC. The defender will sign a contract for 6 years. The current 28-year player contract is valid until 2023.
The Dutchman made an agreement with the English club and is soon to initial a contract that will be valid until 2025. The defender will receive a raise. Under the previous contract, he earned £ 125,000 a week, and now his earnings will approach £ 200,000. Therefore, it will give £ 10.4 million a year.
Van Dijk has been a player of "The Reds" since January 2018. He has played in 78 matches so far in Liverpool FC.
