Claudio Marchisio is reportedly close to moving to AS Monaco on a free transfer basis, according to Sport Mediaset.
The 33-year-old remains a free player after saying goodbye to Zenit Saint Petersburg in early July.
The former Juventus midfielder always maintained that out of respect for the "Old Lady" he would never play in another Italian club. In the Turin team in 2006-2018 he played a total of 389 matches, reaching 7 times with the team for the Italian championship.
