I Get Lucid Quite Easily Now!

I didn't post anything yesterday, because I had no dreams. Absolutely none! Why? Because when I went to my cousin's place on Friday, I didn't come back home, because I had more than a few beers...

Since I wasn't at my home, I didn't put an alarm to wake myself up in the middle of the night to perform any methods to induce lucid dreaming.

I felt no reason to post about it, because there was literally nothing to talk about...

So, I take it as a step back for the day. But, this morning I became lucid pretty easily! I woke up after 5 hours of sleep and I didn't even bother to do the WILD method, because I felt really really tired. I couldn't stay still for 15-30 minutes like I usually do.

I just did the FILD method immediately and it worked like a charm!

The FILD method basically means that I have to send signals to my fingers as if I was playing the piano with 2 of my fingers.

While I'm doing that, I'm not thinking about the amount of time passed or anything like that. I'm just focusing on sending the signals.

It always gets me really relaxed immediately. Just when I started doing it, I felt like spinning in 10 seconds, and then I knew it! I was lucid again.

I tried to breathe through my nose while I closed it with my hands, and I was able to breathe through.

I Was In My Room Again

Seems like each time I become lucid, I'm always in my room when I open my eyes. I have to focus on getting somewhere else, because this is really boring...

Boring, because I have no control over my dreams and I'm literally stuck in my room. I guess I could get out of the house and go somewhere else, but for some reason, I never think of that!

I just spend so much time walking around my room and trying to make some objects appear, but with no luck...

I woke up every 20 minutes or so, and I always did the FILD method again, and it always worked. But, I was in the same fucking room each time...

One thing was interesting though. I turned on my computer to see what I'll find there. The icons on my desktop were scattered around.

And each time I read the name of an icon, it morphed into another name in front of my eyes. I though, "Woah, my subconscious is playing around with me!".

Guess what I did next? I don't know why, but I just tried searching for porn online... Yep, I finally achieve lucid dreaming, and the best I could think of is turning on some porn.

As far as I remember, I was checking out so many porn websites and it went on for a while... Until I kinda lost my lucidity?

I stopped waking up every 20 minutes, but then I stopped being aware of my dreams, or so it felt?

After A Good Hour Of Doing Porn Research...

I forgot how it happened, but I was no longer in my house. I was a kid and I had a friend with me. We were playing with other kids...

We were throwing rocks at each other! Yep, that's how kids play nowadays! You throw a rock at someone's head, almost kill the guy, but you laugh, because it's fucking funny...

But it was a beautiful dream. The scenery was so amazing! We were like in a forest or something. We were nearby a destroyed castle and the other kids climbed into towers and stuff like that.

It was really fun, but I had this strange feeling when I woke up. While I think I was not lucid, I felt like I was actually aware of this dream.

I mean, I probably knew I was dreaming, but did nothing to control it. I just went with the flow. Almost like watching a movie, but the TV was my eyes.

Really strange!

So far I really like the progress with my lucidity. Even when I was barely lucid, I still had really nice vivid dreams. They are starting to have a way more real feeling to them.

You know, it fells like real life. Before this, my dreams felt like some sort of memory from 15 years, when I would wake up. Blurry and hard to remember.

Now, it actually kinda feels like it all really happened recently.

Some Dream Interpretations

I never normally did this before I started this journey, but I think it's going to be fun to check out what my dreams mean, since I'm getting more involved with them.

I don't necessarily believe the interpretations, but it's a great way to get even more immersed into the dream world.

So, once I no longer tried to consciously do anything in my dreams, I became a kid. What could that possibly mean? Here's what I've found:

If you become a child in your dream, it can be a positive sign. However, if you find yourself stuck in a child’s body and you want to break free, you are holding yourself back from accomplishing something or you are hesitant about a major life change. You are not working towards your goals and are spending too much time in a fantasy world. (Source)

Well, I guess it's a positive sign, because I wasn't stuck in a child's body and I didn't try to break free. But what's this positive sign? Why you no tell me about the sign!!!

Now I remembered that I was also climbing down a rope in my dream. It happened in one of the towers. What could it possibly mean? Here's what I've found:

Climbing using a rope: a reminder about physical health – to be more involved in your own health, or a sign that you need to pay attention to health issues. (Source)

Well, I don't know about this one. I mean, I'm more involved in my own health than I ever was before. I'm taking care of myself in many ways to stay healthy and fit. Just a random rope dream? I'll go with that!

I'll stop with the interpretations and end this post. At the end of each post I'll include my first post (down below) about this journey as it explains why and how I'm doing this! (Full Post Here)

I Will Be Doing This Every Day!

The main reason I want to start lucid dreaming, is for self improvement.

I've been reading a lot about it and studies have shown that you can actually improve certain abilities by doing it in your dreams.

For example, if you wan't to learn a foreign language, you can practice it in your dreams. Since you're working with your subconscious mind while you're sleeping, you might find out that you know words that you were never aware of while conscious.

It's really all up to your creativity to what you wanna learn and improve upon in your dreams. Is it basketball that you want to become better at? You can do that!

Do you want to become a better fucker? Nobody is holding you back! Just make a nasty slut appear in front of you and do whatever you want with her!

Apparently while sleeping, the neural pathways engaged in the activity are strengthened, and not only imagined or visualized.

To achieve lucid dreaming, a lot of action has to be taken. Well... Some find it really easy to lucid dream, but most have to achieve it the hard way.

It's really important to think about lucid dreaming throughout the day. This way you're telling your subconscious mind that this is what you're focusing on and what you want, thus it gives you the access to control the dream world.

There are quite a few things I will be doing in order to achieve this goal!

  1. So, first of all, I will be posting my whole lucid dreaming journey here on Steemit every day.

  2. I will be writing down all of my dreams on a journal. A dream journal is basically essential if you want to achieve lucid dreaming.

  3. I will do at least 30-50 reality checks every day.

  4. Have a sleeping rhythm. That means I will be going to sleep at the same time every night. I'll also wake up at the same time every morning as well.

  5. I will also experiment with some techniques to induce lucid dreams.

  6. I won't look at any screens (computer, TV or even phone) 30-60 minutes before bed, because I've read that this helps a lot. For those 30-60 minutes I will be meditating.

  7. Talk, read and think about lucid dreaming constantly.

  8. Occasionally I will listen to lucid dreaming binaural beats and hypnosis.

  9. I will use an app called Awoken. This app is designed to help you achieve lucid dreaming. It reminds you to do reality checks throughout the day and it has a dream journal, which is where I will be writing down all my dreams when I wake up.

  10. I will experiment with the supplement called Dream Leaf, I already ordered it and I will use it when it arrives. I will take it only once or at most twice every week to see if it changes anything about my dreams and the ability to become lucid.

Tracking All My Progress!

So, like I've mentioned before, I will be tracking all my progress and I'll be posting about it every day here on Steemit.

Also, after I achieve lucid dreaming, I won't stop posting about my experiences for some time still.

When I achieve my goal, I will be writing down a lot of experiences that I have inside the dream world, and I'll experiment if it's actually possible to improve real life skills while sleeping.

I set a personal goal to achieve lucid dreaming within 30 days starting today. I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to do that even faster than 30 days!

This is not the first time I try to achieve lucid dreaming, but I never took it seriously and I was too inconsistent, so I never even came close to becoming lucid.

But this time I'm gonna SMASH it and record the whole journey on this blockchain!

I’m following your story now. See you around!

Haha, I've also wanted to do this for a long time, but never took enough action. Once I started getting immersed into my dream world, I simply began remembering my dreams way better than before!
