Couldn't Post For A While

I wasn't able to post about my journey, because my sister came back from abroad on the weekend and I wasn't at home until now.

Even though I didn't post or read about lucid dreaming while I was gone, I was thinking about it most of the time.

I didn't stop doing reality checks either. I consistently do at least 30 reality checks every day.

So, lucid dreaming is pretty much stuck in my subconsciousness now, and it's only a matter of time until I achieve it.

I also did the WILD method every day

I set my alarm to wake me up after 4 hours of sleep and I tried to stay still so my body would enter sleep paralysis.

Seems like each time I fall asleep pretty fast and I'm unable to stay conscious. So far I haven't had sleep paralysis from this method.

There are times where I just don't even remember if I woke up or not when the alarm went off. It's possible that I fall asleep in a matter of seconds so I can't even remember it.

Also, yesterday I took Dream Leaf again after a short brake.

I've Been Having Some Weird Dreams

All these days when I didn't post, I had some weird dreams basically every day.

A lot of those dreams involved me punching someone's face. I don't usually dream anything like that.

Yesterday when I took the blue pill and went to bed, I had some dreams. Even when I woke up to take the red one, I clearly remembered them.

But when I woke up in the morning, I couldn't remember any of my dreams!

So, I decided to sleep for an extra hour in hopes that I will dream something. And I did dream!

And guess what... I dreamed of punching someone in the face! More specifically, I punched my cousin. But it was a very weird dream.

First of all, we were in the bathroom and then he decided to take a shower with his clothes on, so I told him I won't give him a towel, because he appeared as an idiot to me. LOL

He tried taking the towel but I was holding it. We started pushing each other and trashed the whole bathroom.

When I had enough I just punched him in the face.... He looked at me for a few seconds and then ran away.

Then my suddenly I was just driving a bike with a lot of people, but I don't remember who they were. And this is where my one hour of dreaming ends!

Some Dream Interpretations

I never normally did this before I started this journey, but I think it's going to be fun to check out what my dreams mean, since I'm getting more involved with them. I don't necessarily believe the interpretations, but it's a great way to get even more immersed into the dream world.

So, first of all, I dreamed a lot about fighting other people. I wonder what could that possibly mean? Here's what I've found:

This dream generally tells that you are fighting with something in your mind which needs to be fully understood. Only you can make the required decision in order to make yourself feel better.

It also shows that you need to think outside the box. What is your life achievement? Have you completed it yet? (Source)

Haha, I guess I'm fighting with my subconscious mind to get access to lucid dreaming! Ain't that a fight? I'm gonna get there one way or another!

Next, I had a dream where I could barely walk. It was just really really hard to walk and I almost fell on the ground. What could that possibly mean? Here's what I've found:

May suggest that you are experiencing difficulties in attaining a goal or finishing something.

A fear of failure may be preventing you from moving forward. (Source)

I guess you could say I'm struggling to attain the ability to lucid dream? Haha, this could be it!

So, for today, I'll stop with the interpretations and end this post. At the end of each post I'll include my first post (down below) about this journey as it explains why and how I'm doing this! (Full Post Here)

I Will Be Doing This Every Day!

The main reason I want to start lucid dreaming, is for self improvement.

I've been reading a lot about it and studies have shown that you can actually improve certain abilities by doing it in your dreams.

For example, if you wan't to learn a foreign language, you can practice it in your dreams. Since you're working with your subconscious mind while you're sleeping, you might find out that you know words that you were never aware of while conscious.

It's really all up to your creativity to what you wanna learn and improve upon in your dreams. Is it basketball that you want to become better at? You can do that!

Do you want to become a better fucker? Nobody is holding you back! Just make a nasty slut appear in front of you and do whatever you want with her!

Apparently while sleeping, the neural pathways engaged in the activity are strengthened, and not only imagined or visualized.

To achieve lucid dreaming, a lot of action has to be taken. Well... Some find it really easy to lucid dream, but most have to achieve it the hard way.

It's really important to think about lucid dreaming throughout the day. This way you're telling your subconscious mind that this is what you're focusing on and what you want, thus it gives you the access to control the dream world.

There are quite a few things I will be doing in order to achieve this goal!

  1. So, first of all, I will be posting my whole lucid dreaming journey here on Steemit every day.

  2. I will be writing down all of my dreams on a journal. A dream journal is basically essential if you want to achieve lucid dreaming.

  3. I will do at least 30-50 reality checks every day.

  4. Have a sleeping rhythm. That means I will be going to sleep at the same time every night. I'll also wake up at the same time every morning as well.

  5. I will also experiment with some techniques to induce lucid dreams.

  6. I won't look at any screens (computer, TV or even phone) 30-60 minutes before bed, because I've read that this helps a lot. For those 30-60 minutes I will be meditating.

  7. Talk, read and think about lucid dreaming constantly.

  8. Occasionally I will listen to lucid dreaming binaural beats and hypnosis.

  9. I will use an app called Awoken. This app is designed to help you achieve lucid dreaming. It reminds you to do reality checks throughout the day and it has a dream journal, which is where I will be writing down all my dreams when I wake up.

  10. I will experiment with the supplement called Dream Leaf, I already ordered it and I will use it when it arrives. I will take it only once or at most twice every week to see if it changes anything about my dreams and the ability to become lucid.

Tracking All My Progress!

So, like I've mentioned before, I will be tracking all my progress and I'll be posting about it every day here on Steemit.

Also, after I achieve lucid dreaming, I won't stop posting about my experiences for some time still.

When I achieve my goal, I will be writing down a lot of experiences that I have inside the dream world, and I'll experiment if it's actually possible to improve real life skills while sleeping.

I set a personal goal to achieve lucid dreaming within 30 days starting today. I'm really excited and hopefully I'll be able to do that even faster than 30 days!

This is not the first time I try to achieve lucid dreaming, but I never took it seriously and I was too inconsistent, so I never even came close to becoming lucid.

But this time I'm gonna SMASH it and record the whole journey on this blockchain!

wow, I love this post, I've had so many encounters with lucid dreams even last night lol. I usually use the FILD method. last night I tried controlling my dreamscape by creating a sword.

The other night I simulated my own childbirth. being in my mom's belly and feeling everything the warmth and the birth process.

Maybe I should also start a lucid dream journal lol. we could share our journeys together. I enjoyed reading this. congrats on your appreciator award win. peace and love

I've only recently discovered the FILD method and I have been trying to do it when I wake up in the morning. Hadn't had any success yet cuz I just fall asleep really quickly LOL.

Haha, it would be really cool if you started a lucid dream journal as well. I would like to read about your experiences with lucid dreaming!

If it takes punching someone in your dreams - keep it up until you wake up and nothing is as it seems! :)
