Your are not your thoughts
Since the one and only Truth that "we are eternally creating infinite expressions of the One Light we are (= Love)" insinuates that nothing we ever do has any ultimate lasting consequences, we come to see that all we ever experience is not being attested more reality than that of a dream.
All we ever dream is taking place within the Awareness of Oneness. As such, the temporary Unawareness of Oneness is a dream in itself within the perpetual dream of Oneness. We are experiencing a "dream within a dream".
In the Unawareness of Oneness, we can only be when we do. So we cultivate Doing, the source of which is thinking.
In the Awareness of Oneness, we can only do when we are. So we cultivate Being, the source of which is mental Silence.
In order to instigate the shift from the former to the latter we only need to question:
"When we stop thinking, will we stop being?"
In a sense, yes: we will stop being our thoughts, which means we stop identifying with our false thought-made Self. We return to our True Self, remembering that only Love is real and everything else merely the temporary result of illusory Separation.
We never left Oneness to begin with. For it is our most natural state to be embodiments of the Divine spark of Love that permeates all of us.
As long as we search for Oneness we will find nothing but Separation. It is when we stop searching for Oneness that we will realize that all is One already.
Much Love and Light,
Alex
Very inspiring words @alexaventuria! We identify ourselves very often with our thoughts and trust them more than our intuition.
Yes, and most noteworthily, when the energy behind certain thoughts appears very enticing to us it does not mean that that energy indicates a corresponding Heart and Soul alignment. Instead, it can merely be seductive energy trying to entangle us in dependency.
Wow. At some level I already knew this and have known it many times, but it's very easy to forget. Thank you for the reminder. Well-said, eloquent and concise.
It's a beautiful yet daunting thought that we live in a dream, but it is the truth. In a way, our reality is nothing but an illusion in a sense that the thoughts that pass through our heads crossover each other and create the illusion of points forming, these points being the fabrics of our reality upon which we build our view of the world - that which is 'out there'.
I like how you call the illusory self the 'thought-made' self; it really condenses it all nicely.
I wrote an article recently about thoughts - What are thoughts? - in which I tried to simplify the truth that is that we are not the thoughts we experience.
Thanks for sharing this great article with us! I'm enjoying your content!
Namaste!
Great, once the awareness of life being dream in its deepest sense takes hold within us everything will gradually morph with and align into that direction. It takes time surely, but at the end everything will be set up.
Truth! Everything will fall into place harmoniously. We are in for the ride - a beautiful ride - and all we can really do is hold on tight and enjoy!
