The secrets of Chopin: the other "impossible" etude for my little hands.
Hi Steemians,
I have little hands. To play the piano, sometimes it is an advantage, but normally it is a handicap for the romantic/ virtuose repertoire.
For example, this Etude op.10 no.1, which is ideal to work the extension of the hand.
It is very difficult to play it fast, but now I will try it for Steemit!
Today I have practised it.

Hola Steemians,
Tengo las manos pequeñas. Algunas veces es una ventaja, pero normalmente es un handicap para el repertorio virtuoso/romántico.
Por ejemplo, este Estudio op. 10 Nº 1, que es ideal para trabajar la extensión de la mano.
Es muy difícil tocarlo deprisa, pero ahora lo voy a intentar para Steemit!
Hoy lo he practicado.

ME encanta!!
Chopin was pure genius. He expresses the spirit of the masculine and feminine in his music like no one else.
I love Nocturne in E-flat-the "masculine" left hand must be firm and stable yet somehow light and mobile and towards the end downright floaty yet still in a "masculine" way. The "feminine" right hand delicate and serene yet confident, fast yet never overtaking, and when the left hand floats, taking over the stability without overpowering. I think he must have been a wise man!
Thanks for your reply cathi-xx.
Let me play this Nocturne right now and I will post it as an Steemian Tequest!
Cool!
