Conociendo el Ultimate Frisbee. Parte 5
Buen día a todos, haciendo repaso a mis anteriores post he estado hablando de los equipos de Ultimate que han existido en Táchira Dopper, UTU, Kamikazes y hoy el turno es para Borea Ultimate Michelena, fue un equipo algo alejado al resto, con poca participación en torneos, su participación se limitó solo a nivel regional. El equipo no estaba muy cerca de San Cristóbal, por lo que dificultaba que el equipo participara en partidos amistosos entre los equipos de la ciudad. Borea era un equipo también muy joven, no tenía mucha experiencia, sin embargo, tenían muy buenos jugadores que manejaban muy bien el disco y entendían las estrategias básicas del juego.
Borea Ultimate Michelena.FuenteEn el tiempo en que Borea fue un equipo no salió a torneos, aunque esto no impidió que varios de sus jugadores prestaran sus habilidades y reforzaran a los otros equipos del Táchira para participaciones en torneos en el país. Algunos de sus jugadores participaron en torneos en Mérida, Maracaibo, Aragua y Yaracuy, este último estado fue donde se jugó el torneo juvenil representando a UTU, torneo al que también participe.

Charli atacando en partido entre Borea y UTU.FuenteBorea era un equipo con un grupo de jugadores muy interesantes, tenían habilidades que si se hubiesen explotado fuesen hecho de ellos un equipo muy competitivo, a mi parecer les hacía falta actitud competitiva, ganas de ser mejores, creérselas, pero esto se ganaba era participando en torneos o en fogueos como lo hicieron UTU y Dopplers, lástima que la lejanía hizo imposible que Borea mantuviera una participación constante en el Ultimate del Táchira. Algunos de sus jugadores también acompaño a Dopplers en un torneo playero que se juego en Chuao, Choroni, un agradable paseo, sin embargo, no obtuvimos un buen desempeño en nuestro juego, pero pienso que lo esencial es disfrutar cada experiencia ya que eso nos hace mucho más grandes.
