THE SOUND IN THE DARKNESS
After being unconsciousness for hours, she finally gained back her consciousness. She was in a dark room with a little vent which was the only source that light could enter through.
Her hands were tied behind her back and she was sitting on the floor against one of the corners of the room. And could not recall what happened to her, how she lost her consciousness and ended up there.
It was pretty dark there but after few moments her eyes were able to read the surroundings. She was trying to see what was around her. A broken chair and Old... She doesn’t know what that was...A bag or just a piece of cloth, few empty bottles, a ceiling Fan, not running, of course.
She was feeling weak and hungry, thirsty too...and the bad headache was killing her. You must be thinking who made her captive there. Well, she knows who they were. They were her parents. Yes! Her own parents, her mom and her dad, they never gave her the love she deserved.
They hated each and everything she did. She used to think why she was born to them? Being in that room she started thinking about all the fights she had been through and as soon as she started on those thoughts, she felt so crumbled that she started crying.
She was feeling so done. She was thinking of calling someone for help but there was no way. Because of her weakness she was gradually plunging into another long sleep but suddenly she heard a sound coming from the opposite corner.
She couldn't see what the other end was because it was so dark on that side. She thought, it must be some rat, her worst fear was after "them" but she couldn't care less. She was weak, bleeding and captivated in a dark room, unknown of her fate. She wasn't in a condition to worry about a freaking rat.
She ignored the sound and her eyes started to close as she was slipping into the unconsciousness again. She, then with her half opened eyes, witnessed something unbelievable that annihilated her weakness.
It was a figure made of light; some would call a ghost or spirit, a spirit of a guy. She felt a sudden jolt in her body. She was super afraid and was shaking.
"Who are...." she tried to speak. “Don't be afraid, you know me..." He answered.
The voice was so friendly and peaceful that it instantly killed half of her fear and she felt a deep feeling of peace and hope. "You know me" he said but she never in her entire life had an encounter with something like this.
She was looking right into his face and she started to feel that he actually was someone she already knew. She then thought "Is it for real or am I dreaming?"
"Free Yourself..." He obstructed her thinking. "Free myself...How??" she thought. She looked around and saw that she was standing in the middle of the room.
One more thing she noticed that feeling of hunger and weakness was replaced by a deep feeling of extreme peace, maybe because of his presence. She was completely baffled by whatever was going on there.
She turned around in disbelief and saw that she was sitting in the corner, lifeless. And then she figured out - No, That wasn't me, yes that was her body. She was sad, thinking - "so that was it."
"No!" He said. "That's not it. It's just one phase you are aware of." She was looking at his face, glowing bright, while he was speaking.
"Time to leave... We're going home..." He said. He didn't wait for her response and they both sucked into some wormhole structure.
It was so peaceful.
She wasn't feeling any pain anymore. She left all the regrets where they belonged. She saw a door on the other side with a bright golden-white light coming through it and as we were moving close to the door, that feeling of Peace was growing.
She never thought that the sound she initially heard was not coming from any other source that sound was omen of God which led her to the heaven her home.
One thing she didn't understand, Why She was there? Was it a punishment? Or was it a lesson? Why they hated her so much?
But all her thoughts are so overpowered by this godly peace that she was feeling.
What she realized in the whole journey from that day to the day she went home, that the sound was God's gesture in the darkness of her life.
