Bacon-wrapped sweet potato bites

This recipe is one of new new favourite snacks to make... It came about when some twitter friends and I got to chatting, and agreed to meet up for a braai. Things escalated a bit, and before you knew it we were tasked with feeding a whole bunch of people some finger-food, and one of the items on our platter was this Bacon-Wrapped Sweet Potato bite.

The response to these delicious bacon-wrapped sweet potato bites was so good, I knew I HAD to do a BraaiBoy TV episode on them. These little starters/snacks are really easy to make and will blow your guests' minds... Try it out, and then you can thank us later!

Oooooh I am so trying this - I love banana and those cherries also wrapped in bacon, but this sounds delicious
Indeed! Those cherries wrapped in bacon, soaked in syrup and on a sosatie stick (aka "oepsies" according to my local butcher) are a favourite of mine too... but these bad boys take that concept to the next level. Seriously YUMMY... you should definitely try them out the next time you braai.
