Karaweik Palace in Yangon, Myanmar
Karaweik (Burmese: ကရဝိက် ဖောင် [kəɹəweɪʔ pʰàʊɴ]) or Karaweik Hall is a palace on the eastern shore of Kandawgyi Lake. It is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Myanmar's Capital, Yangon.
It is not a proper palace, though. Just a fancy restaurant, but still, it looks amazing, isn't it?

In the image it looks imposing ... I can complement the Karaweik Hall is a barge with a two-storied construction of concrete and stucco reinforced by iron rods, with a pyatthat-topped roof built between 1972 and 1974. It resembles a ship of the ones used by the kings of Myanmar and adorned with 2 dragons in the prow. The golden color predominates. By the way the word karaweik comes from Pali karavika, which is a mythical bird with a melodious cry. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karaweik...I really like to learn new things and this kind of information and images that you publish from your travels, allow me to expand my knowledge.
