Dandelion [ Day 05 - Flowers ]
Dandelion : Beauty of Goodbyes.
Theres a lot of reasons why i chose to portray these beautiful God's creation, the dandelion. Besides the magnificent physical beauty that it possessed, i love to see it from another deeper perspective that have made me reflect on myself. As we know, these angelic white furry form is NOT the main form of the flower, but rather its the corpse of the flower; the later form after its' death. Yes. It represent death but in a more romanticised way that one can choose to see it from. This thought was triggered after i watched this superbly captured time lapse video by Neil Bromhall here;
It was recorded through a period of 30 days. Amazing huh? :)
Coming back to the digital painting, I really love working on this one. The intricate detailing, the mood it portrays, the angelic colour it have against the beautiful sky, everything was just lovely to work with. And i also decided to pair the timelapse video with a lovely instrumental song so it made justice to its' loveliness. :)

This piece is really beautifully done @kymio , and I love the Angel piece too. Which gadget did you use for your sketches? I am pretty sure it is not easy to do both sketching and recording at the same time.
