Week Five of the #sixweekhealth Challenge - A day at tree top walk

We have come to week 5 of the Six Week Health Challenge. Thanks @healthsquared and @sweetsssj for having this healthy lifestyle challenge. This week i am going to show you how i keep fit and active!

不知不觉“六周健康挑战赛Sixweekhealth”已经到了第五周，真心感谢 @healthsquared and @sweetsssj 主办这个有意义的健康挑战赛。这个星期将带你看看我怎么保持健康和活跃。

I am someone who seldom do exercise due to the busy work life. Few months back i visited a Feng Shui Master to seek for advise in career switch. He suggested me to visit a few places to absorb the good and positive energy. Finally this week i have a chance to visit the place he suggested when my parent in Singapore. Wow can you imagine this is the first time i went hiking with my parent! We went to Tree Top walk at MacRitchie Reservoir Park in Singapore.

我是个很少运动的人 不久前见过一名风水师问问转行的问题　他建议我去几个地方吸收正能量 我一直抽不出时间也找不到伴。这周刚好乘着父母在新加坡 我约他们去行山　你相信吗？这是第一次带父母行山！地点在新加坡的MacRitchie Reservoir Park。

I did a little homework before we go, and know that taking public transport to the natural park we need quite a long distance to reach the Tree top walk. I decided to take a cab to the nearest entrance so my parent will not be exhausted before we even start our adventure!
我去之前稍微做了一点功课知道搭公共交通过去再走进去Treetop桥很远。所以我从家里打了车去到那里最近的入口。不然我父母还没开始走就累坏了！

The Natural Park is very big, the distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk from the car park at Venus Drive is 2.5 km. A round trip including the TreeTop Walk is about 7-10km (3-5 hrs depending on your walking pace). We started from the Venus drive carpark.
整个保护区其实非常大也有不同入口　
我们算是从停车场走进来的　也要超过两公里半的路程　
走完全程要３－５个小时

Luckily the weather is Good! we just walk slowly and chit chat with my mom.
还好今天的天气凉爽　我和妈妈一边走一边谈心

There is a ranger station that you dont want to miss! because this is the only place you can stop for toilet and refill your water!
这个是你一定要去的地方　唯一的洗手间 你也可以装水。

我们大概９３０分到达停车场
走了一个多小时好不容易走到了Tree Top Walk!

After passing this small door, we can see the bridge already. At that time i actually didnt realize i have reach the place which i suppose to collect my positive energy! oh my god.
进了这小门就是桥了我其实后知后觉　我并不知道已经到了我应该吸收能量的地方！


I just happily walk through the bridge without stopping for too long, as we don't want to block other people from crossing. This give me another reason to come back to this place again in the near future!
我们只是开心的慢慢过桥　不想挡住后面的人　只是快速的拍了几张照
我原本应该停下来　
在桥中间好好的吸收一下大自然的正能量的！
这样就给了我一个理由　一定要再去一次

After crossing the bridge we must walk down from the other side, no U-turn!
过完桥我们必须从另一端走下去　不能走回头路
不过下桥后还是可以绕回 ranger station　慢慢走回停车场

I didnt expect we need to walk so far to reach TreeTopWalk
but the distance for the bridge is really short and we need to walk so far back to the carpark again.
I also realized we actually need to enjoy the process
this is a very good experience (especially with my parent) which i will never forget

真没想到走了那么久到了Treetopwalk　原来桥上风景是那么的短
然后我们又要走回头了　原来这是要享受过程的 特别是跟父母一起
