I was a 10 year old boy when the first Star Wars film was released and it was the very last time I went to the cinema with my parents, so it has very fond memories for me.
So when I first saw these coins produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of the film I knew I had to at least buy some silver ones. But I couldn't resist buying some of the smaller gold ones too. I hope you enjoy this magnificent collection.

Let's start with the main characters.

Han Solo, frozen in Gold, not carbonite.

Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Fighting Darth Vader.

Princess Leia and R2D2.

An iconic image.

Jedi Master, Yoda.

All of the coins come in gold and silver. The gold are available down to 1/4oz and the silver up to 1kg for at least one of the characters.
