2025 - days of fire

2025, giorni di fuoco

L'alba di un sole pallido sta nascendo, velato da un aria torbida.

Drinn drinn! Cazzo la sveglia!

Mi alzo gonfio di sonno, vado in cucina e bevo acqua dal rubinetto di casa. Le bottiglie di plastica sono state bandite, mentre mi vesto penso se usare l'auto o il bus elettrico per andare al lavoro.

Vedo il sole e scelgo di prendere la bicicletta, oggi niente auto o bus è sabato!
Saluto il mio cane Spike e vado.

Mentre pedalo ascolto le ultime notizie con l'auricolare.
Lo speaker racconta che Trump ha rinnovato i contratti miliardari con le grosse società petrolifere, penso ad alta voce:- “Fanculo a lui e al petrolio!”

La radio da sempre una buona notizia dopo quella cattiva, dicono che il Marocco e la Svezia sono i paesi più virtuosi per la sostenibilità ambientale, e penso ad alta voce:-”India, Cina e Stati Uniti fanno cagare!”.

Il cielo nonostante il sole è velato, ricco di gas, un'atmosfera surreale, come accade da qualche anno.

Passo per il lungomare e osservo che le dighe che l'amministrazione ha fatto costruire quest'anno hanno limitato l'erosione della costa e della spiaggia.

Noi europei siamo fortunati perchè lo Stato pensa a soluzioni d'emergenza.
Non rischiamo di andare sott'acqua per i prossimi dieci anni.

Questa cazzo di radio!

Ascolto altre notizie sui drammatici allagamenti in Bangladesh, Indocina e tutto il Golfo del Bengala, 20 milioni di persone in preda all'emergenza clima, migliaia di chilometri di coste allagate e città sommerse dalle inondazioni.

Evito un'auto elettrica per miracolo, non l'avevo sentita arrivare, devo togliere l'auricolare cazzo!

Giungo al mio studio d'arte e penso che sia tutto inutile, che cazzo fare?

Entro prima nel bar affianco allo studio e dal monitor di una tv appare lei: Greta Thunberg, invecchiata, ha 23 anni, ma ne dimostra 50! Allora soffre veramente?
Prendo il caffè e sento lei che parla che i provvedimenti adottati dai governi mondiali sono inutili e deboli.

Sono trascorsi 5 anni e con la sua rielezione, Donald Trump, trascina gli Stati Uniti verso la nuova corsa al Petrolio, mentre Cina e India aspettano che qualcuno dei tre si muova verso soluzioni drastiche.

Nel 2025 siamo arrivati al COP 25 e di accordi internazionali nemmeno l'ombra.

Greta ad un tratto esclama: siamo fottuti! Nessuno dei giornalisti e delle personalità presenti si scandalizza.

Poi due scienziati raccontano alla tv che il fenomeno è ormai irreversibile, fanculo pure a loro e esco dal bar.
Entro nel mio studio per dipingere.
Provo a prendere un pennello e dipingere qualcosa, ma poi penso, a che cazzo serve?

Torno a pensare ai miei giovani studenti, recentemente noi insegnanti abbiamo fatto un sondaggio sulla loro alimentazione e con sorpresa il 30% di loro non mangia carne!

Nel 2025 molti giovani stanno cambiando le loro abitudini alimentari, poca carne, verdure e cereali in abbondanza.

Il pesce è ormai diventato una rarità, mentre quello allevato è pieno di antibiotici!

I giovani sanno che gli allevamenti intensivi di animali inquinano, oggi sono la seconda fonte inquinante della Terra.

Non vedo l'ora di tornare a scuola, nella mia classe, con i miei studenti che ne sanno molto più di me. Sono curioso di vedere come affrontato il tema che avevo dato loro la settimana scorsa: l'ambiente marino e l'inquinamento.

Sono le 17.00, esco dal mio studio, una pioggerellina acida e bastarda scende lentamente, il sole è sparito.
Passa un camion della Protezione Civile che con l'altoparlante avvisa gli abitanti di un imminente arrivo di un tifone, vabbé ormai ci siamo abituati...il terzo in un mese.

Lunedì mattina entro in classe, i miei alunni mi salutano così!
