Seafood is such a big thing in Thailand. We literally grill every single one of them, shrims, prawns, lobster, clams, scallops, fish, crab(right..? I don’t even know LOL), horseshoe crab(Yes! we eat them.), mussels, and of course, Grilled SQUIDS! 🦑 🦑

Squid is a big thing here, in Thailand. You don’t just find it at the beach city or somewhere along the coast but literally every local market has them.

The way we cook and eat squid on screwers
I’m pretty sure this is a specific way we do in Thailand. Squid marinated in Sweet soy sauce and turmeric (That’s why it’s yellow as in the pictures ***Though, sometimes they use artificial colour. You never know 😀 Finger crossed) before grilled and eaten with Thai style seafood sauce. Cucumbers and shredded cabbage on the side. Godddd, give me some now!!!

Most of the times, at the stalls, they also sell squid roes. I personally like it and so do most of Thai people. That’s why they’re sold everywhere. You might find it a bit weird. 10 Baht per screwer is a common price for it or a bit pricier depends on sizes and types of squids.

Just went to Pattaya not so long ago. Visited the Pattaya walking street expected to find lots of lots of food. Found a lot of boobies instead. No street food – -. Just a little off the walking street, we stopped by this little squid stall and got some delicious grilled squids.100 Baht?? I considered it a bit pricey but oh well, it’s a tourist area, what do you expect?

The lady who’s the owner of the shop recommended the place that sell freshest seafood in Pattaya so there we went Check it out. Totally worth it and it became my most favourite spot to go for seafood in Pattaya.
