New users beware: sign up bonus is a scam
I signed up for the free money and lo and behold after authorizing through my Reddit account I find that I must deposit 10x as much free money as I was given, in order to withdraw. This was not made clear at all. The funny thing of course is, the only way for me to get the money out is to buy $40 worth of Steem and transfer it here. Shady!
Are you sure you can't earn that money by posting?
Is this one of those bs test posts? I'm surprised people voted this up.
Here is the deal, if you want money you have to participate in the community actively. You can take your money out but obviously not instantly.
That should be made clear with an asterisk* next to the promise of free money, don't you think? The way it's portrayed is, sign up, get free $7.
Sure you could deposit the required amount...You could also earn it by not posting FUD so people would actually upvote you?
Not FUD at all or a test post. This is literally my experience as a new user: promise of free $7 worth of STEEM. Log in to find there is no way to withdraw, with no indication given pre-authorizing my Reddit account that I'd be obliged to create a bunch of click bait for the 'community' to get my $7.
But do you have 7 dollars worth of STEEM? did it say "here have 7 dollars of steam that you can withdraw instantly? Your perception creates your reality ;)
It's not a scam, it's so users like you don't immediately withdraw the free money with 100's of accounts.
