Speed Endurance Intervals..again: 15x400 r75" (My first #runforsteem post )
Following the "Improvised Running Plan for a Race".
Another great workout today.
It is really unbelievable how the body can be adapted as a consequence of a good training plan.
I have essentially repeated the workout done last Thursday, but adding 2 intervals more.
Running Menu:
- Starter: 2.5 Km of warm-up run, softly, mobility and Dynamic Stretching...
- Main Dish: 15x400m intervals resting 75" between them... Target time 1'20"/400m
- Dessert: Cool-down jog + Soft stretching and hydration...
Obtained times and Heart frequency:
Cardio Chart
All the intervals very well executed ( a little bit faster I would say ;-)) except the last one which we have "accelerate" a bit...
I am feeling really well so I hope I will do a good race on Sunday.
As a Summary of the running session today:
- 6Km of High quality run
- Average Heart Beat Frequency: 142 bpm
- Maximum Heart Beat Frequency: 181 bpm
- Total Kms including warmup and Cool down: 10.2Km
- Total time including stretching: 67'

Hope everything is ok.
Thanks fro your words. I will do my best as usual but I'm not in my bets fit this time...
Tomorrow I have amoderate workout, just for activating a little bit... will see.
I've been really busy with work, and even got to go out to a client site this week, which was really cool.
Now I'm busy working away at the documentation I need to product from that visit.
sometimes when we are not at peak fitness is when we perform the best - no expectations, so you relax and just get into the groove of running.
I hope you do well and enjoy the race :-)
Great workout!
Good luck on your Sunday race! I'm sure you will get a good result.
Thanks my friend
+/- 2 seconds for all bar one split! Nice work. Do you use any function on your watch to control pace or are you just running by feel?
:-)
No, just the 100m marks on the track and the chrono...
20" at 100m
40" at 200m
60" at 300m
1'20" at 400m
There is nothing more accurate than the running track
Run like a happy cat!
