Running Project Issue #1: Diary of a Hapless Start-up

This must be my first run in around THREE months. The last one finished half way around a park run with a calf strain. Thankfully this smaller run yielded me no injuries.

This is my first post for the running project so let me know if my babble is not allowed and this should all be running matter. To be honest I’m a very poor runner and keep having to stop, unlike my wife who is more like Paula Radcliffe albeit much shorter in height. You can see she’s ahead as usual, completely carefree and having to tow me along.

This house was deserted with many smashed windows up to a few years ago, but it’s been renovated and sandblasted. It was built in the 1800’s and looks really nice now.

I thought I would take some photographs along the way as the route goes via the Leeds-Liverpool canal. I need these stops for a breather anyway!

The Leeds-Liverpool canal, I’m not running to Leeds, it’s a little far for me just yet.

My time was quite steady I think with lots of stops and starts. I was regularly out of breath and exhausted after just 2.7km. As the run went one I was going farther and farther behind.

So here's my stats, I think everything is in order.

An here's your truly puffing and panting complete with Steven Wilson hoodie. Ill have to get it washed in time for next weeks gig, got to show my support for the great man!
