A Stupid-Easy Way to Score Some Ripple (XRP)

Hey guys, this is my first cryptocurrency blog. It's one of my favorite topics to cover and I want to share some of the tricks and hacks I have discovered that have helped me and other somewhat newer investors score up and coming coins like Ripple and FunFair.

Just to be clear, this post is for purely educational purposes. It is not to be confused with any official financial advice.

So let's get back to it. Have you ever become really interested in a coin, but don't wanna go through confusing looking exchange websites and their charts and graphs that hurt your eyes?

After months of following profiles on youtube and playing around with different options on how to get some of these cool coins, I discovered a stupid-easy way for you and your friends to get in on this Ripple Hype without going through the hoops.

Step 1. Download the Exodus Eden Wallet to Your Computer.

The Exodus brand has proven to be a fairly secure storage unit and portfolio viewer for many different currencies such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, EOS, Civic, OmiseGo and more with their own wallet addresses.

On top of that it's an entirely free software for your computer and has its own internal exchange, linked to a coin changing software called shapeshift, where you can trade crypto for crypto. Using this link, you can get the original Exodus wallet.

Exodus Eden is a new and improved version of the Exodus Software and the reason I am recommending this over the original, is because this new version supports Ripple, when the original does not. Just be weary, Exodus Eden notes that this new program is for more experienced users of Exodus and is also in a beta stage.

If you download this, understand you're doing this at your own risk. And if you're okay with a fairly easy learning curve, just get Eden so you can have more potential assets to store. Download Exodus Eden here.

Step 2. Load up your favorite Exchange.

In this case, one of the exchanges I prefer using to get LTC or Litecoin to trade for other alts, is Coinbase.

Litecoin is still fairly cheap, fast and flexible. And it just feels good using it for trades. So for this example, load up your coinbase account and buy the desired dollar amount of Litecoin you want to trade for that glorious Ripple XRP.

Step 3. Locate your Litecoin Wallet Address within Eden. And Send Litecoin from your Coinbase (or other exchange.)

Locating your Litecoin wallet within Eden is as easy as going to the dropdown menu on the left, scrolling down and hitting the button that says "litecoin."

You'll see two buttons that say Send and Receive. Hit Receive. This is how you'll retrieve your Litecoin Wallet Address.

Okay. Now that you have your LTC Wallet code in Eden, copy your address link and send the LTC funds you purchased to said address. My favorite part is when the funds clear into Exodus and Exodus Eden, you'll hear a nice Cha-Ching noise as soon as those funds drop into your portfolio.

Step 4. Use the Exchange within Eden.

The exchange is pretty self explanatory. On the left side, use the drop down menu to select "litecoin" and on the right side, use the menu to select "Ripple". On the left side, select all and it will calculate how much ripple you'll get from this transaction. If you're happy with that, go ahead and hit the button that says exchange and you're on your way.

Summary

In Summary, this is not financial advice, nor cyber security advice for holding cryptocurrency assets. Use these tips at your own risk. I hope these hacks help you on your way to crypto riches, and that they act as a helpful guide on your journey to success!

It's still confusing to me, all these bitcoins, litecoins stuffs.

There is a bit of a learning gap with this cryptocurrency stuff, but after some research I'm sure you'll pick it up fast!

Good post. I like Exodus too, but haven't tried Eden yet. Considering Btc transaction fees are very high, changing your donation link to something else would work better I think!

Thanks man. Yeah I should have actually put my ripple wallet instead! Thanks for the positive feedback!

Thank you so much mate.

i have the exodus wallet.

Since the O.G. Exodus Wallet doesn't support Ripple yet, nor do we know if it ever will, I recommend downloading Exodus Eden if you are interested in buying and holding Ripple through their exchange.
