Ricky's Photo Challenge Entry: Week 4 - Dramatic Skies
Dear Cloud,
while I was playing around with my new Tamron 70-300mm lens this evening, I coincidentally stumbled upon a quite new photo-contest by @rickyjrx
The contest is called Ricky's Photo Challenge Week 4 - Dramatic Skies and you can win up to 10 SBD for winning the contest.
I think, contests like this are a great way to participate and get to know new users which have the same interests.
So here are my images, that were shot with my Canon EOS Rebel T5i this evening in front of my home in Bonn, Germany:
In the last image you can even see the moon :-)
All images were shot in RAW and postprocessed using Adobe Lightroom and Fotor Photo Editor (for the borders).

Das hat was unglaublich Kraftvolles, sehr bewegend und inspirierend.
Aber ich bin auch ein Gewitterkind. Ich liebte es schon immer wenn die Wolken sich auftürmen und der Wind über das Land fegt.
Irgendwie erinnern sie mich an die Sturmbilder von Claude Monet, weiss auch nicht warum. Hat ja Technisch nichts miteinander zu tun.
Doch vielleicht weil ich seine Bilder dieser Art auch als sehr Kraftvoll empfinde.
Vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Ich finde die Wolkenbilder auch sehr "kraftvoll" und freue mich, dass etwas davon bei dir angekommen ist. Ich stelle fest, dass ich Wolken ziemlich gerne mag: Sowohl die Gewitterwolken, als auch die kleinen Schönwetter-Tupfen ;-)

Ja, in dem Fall habe ich mit einigen Lightroom-Presets herumexperimentiert, um die Dramatik noch etwas besser herauszuarbeiten. Danke für's Feedback!
Lightrolm ist ein sehr nices Programm für sowas. Auch sehr cool, dass Adobe es für Mobile kostenlos anbietet.
Stimmt, ich habe aus beruflichen Gründen die Adobe Suite abonniert. Die mobile Lightroom-Version habe ich noch gar nicht ausprobiert... muss ich mir mal anschauen.
Es gibt aber auch eine Open-Source Alternative mit Namen darktable - mit der man 'ne ganze Menge machen kann.

I've been here for more than one year nearly every day. So in my opinion, there is no fast way to get lots of followers. Essentially this sums it up quite well:
"Forget about the money, bring value to the community, write about your passions, engage with others because you share the same interests (and not because of voting and following), be polite, help others, work hard and stay for the long term."
