What's going on in the Arrowverse???
Hello Steemians and Comicbook-movie fans!
Is it just me, or are the showrunners of the Arrowverse up to something? 'Cause I definitely think so!

The 'Arrowverse' is the collective term used to refer to the four generally acclaimed CW tv shows Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow.

I'm referring, of course, to the massive Easter Eggs suddenly being dropped by the shows.
First, after five years of shying away, Arrow outrightly namedrops Bruce Wayne, so now we know he does exist in the Arrowverse. Then Legends of Tomorrow goes ahead to show us Themyscira. Themyscira! The birth place of Wonder Woman! And Supergirl drops a bomb on us by revealing that Chloe Sullivan, Clark Kent's nerdy best friend from Smallville exists on that Earth, complete with her trademark Wall of Weird! Don't forget also, that The Flash has already confirmed the existence of Atlantis on Earth 2, the homeplace and kingdom of Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman. And that Arrow is already slowly pushing towards the melding of man and machine in Felicity and John Diggle, the concept out of which Cyborg was born.
So what's going on?
Personally, I think there's been a change of policy over at DC that fans haven't been told about. While, at first, they were reluctant to let different versions of the same characters exist on both small and big screens (a policy which led to the dismantling of the Suicide Squad on Arrow), that rule seems to have been dissolved at last. And I think the showrunners are now gearing us up for the appearance on the Justice League big 3, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, on the shows.

But don't hold your breath though. If I were to fathom a guess (which is what I'm doing anyway), I would say we should be expecting a Justice League themed crossover for next year, complete with all the traditional members of the team, probably doing something connected with the Smallville universe with those versions of themselves.
Now that's four hours of television I'll really love to see!

Next week, the Arrowverse returns with a two-day, four-show crossover titled 'Crisis on Earth-X' airing Monday and Tuesday on the CW, 8pm ET!

So do you think this would be a different version of the Superman that we have already met on Supergirl's Earth?
Oh no...! I think he'll be brought in from Earth-19 the same way she is. There's only so many times she can tell the Earth-1 heroes about her cousin before they actually meet him, right?
And I think they'll do the same with Batman. The Bruce on Earth-1 might never have become Batman, while batman on Supergirl's earth has been teased many times.

I wonder if we will see Green Lantern since Hal has been mentioned in the Arrowverse before...
You mean during the very first Earth-2 Adventure, right? That's definitely a possiblity! Perhaps they could bring in Green Lantern and Aquaman from that Earth. It would be quite cool... as long as it doesn't get too clunky!
I'm sure he's been alluded to on the main Earth too, although it was a few Seasons back.
