Friday special prayer 🕌
As-salāmu ʿalaykum steemians.
As-salāmu ʿalaykum is a greeting in Arabic that means "peace be upon you". The typical response to the greeting is waʿalaykumu as-salām. Which means "and upon you, peace".
Friday prayer is a congregational prayer (ṣalāt) that Muslims hold every Friday, just after noon instead of the Zuhr prayer.
I was a bit late where you get fully rewarded when you come before 'Khutbah'.
Only men comes for this special prayer. The special prayer is not obligatory for women. As you can see everyone comes and sit where he wants and listen to the 'Kutbah. There are 2 Khtbahs. First ones bit long second. And after that praying starts.
After the prayer, everyone goes to their home for the lunch. And most of the times you get invited by a brother of you to go to their home and have lunch.
