The Rapture

Greetings and blessings to you. I am Christopher Satterwhite, a Priest with the Ecumenical Order of Christ. I would like to talk to you today about a subject that gets a lot of attention especially considering the times in which we live... The Rapture.

The subject of the Rapture has been misconstrued by most Christians. Ministers of the worlds many congregations will use the topic of the Rapture to elevate their particular church above the rest. Claiming that they will be the only ones being saved from chastisement and that all other churches and religions are incorrect. Most Christians fall for this deception and will tell you that, before the tribulation, there will be a great Rapture event that will lift them up into the sky to be with the Lord, sparing them from the chastisements that are inflicted upon the world. To validate this claim they will site Revelation 3:10
"Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth."

Let us think about that passage for a moment. It talks about "patient endurance". Enduring Satan's tests are the only way to truly measure the worthiness of a soul. Testing Humanity is after all Satan's job. A job that was given to him by the Almighty himself. So do you honestly believe you have lived a righteous enough life to be spared the test? Even the Lord's Saints are having to "patiently endure" the tests being administered. And make no mistake, Satan does not make it easy. The test can even be cruel and torturous at times.

Seeing as how the world has been going through many chastisements since 2011 and no "rapture" event has occurred, you can conclude that these self-proclaimed righteous men are incorrect in their assumptions. The thieving ministers of today use the topic of the rapture to line their pockets with tithes that rightfully belong to Christ himself. Yes... you heard me right, Christ himself. He has returned and the church age as you know it is over.

There is a silver lining though. There will be a rapture-type event, even though it may not be what you expect. If you are truly a righteous person and have endured and passed Satan's tests then you may be "chosen" for extraction. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 "Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." Along with the 144,000, The Lord will be collecting His church and family. "What does it mean to be chosen" you may ask yourself. Obeying the commandment to exodus Babylon (the United States) is a good start. Obeying the commandment to love God and love each other is also crucial. Don't fall into the false sense of security of believing that just because you belong to a certain church you are "saved". It is what you do in this life that matters. We are, after all, judged on our works, not on our faith. Faith without works is meaningless and no amount of faith will save you if you do not bear good fruit.
