Is religion just a concept?
I have a conflicting view when it comes to religious related topics. For every time I find myself asking questions and bringing the integrity of religious doctrines to its knees, i pull out of the confined view as it appears up in your face.
Are all we have been taught about religion a myth or are they true, it would be helpful to know exactly what to believe, given the fact that societies and common lives have their foundation on this grounds.
Lives have been given over centuries for the sake of religion in different holy battles or self-righteousness.
Question is! Is religion a scheme that has been running from the beginning of time?
Are religion political organized structures created to answer spirituaI metaphysical concerns? Or to control the reactions of people in the society

What is your say when it comes to religion?
I've always wondered who has the right idea about religion. Does anyone have the right idea? I actually did a little research on some religions to write a poem and I learned a few things. I see by your road sign above that there are more religions to check into. religion can't save us from our bad doings, only just to believe Jesus as our savior.
The question is how well do you know of your religions authenticity , it's difficult to just close an eye to that especially for the fact that we were born into them or they have been in existence before we came to the world , even if they are true , how much have they been influenced?

You raised a lot of questions - none with simple answers. Is religion political? Is it about control? Is it myth or fact? Most probably it is some combination of all of these things. Is being religious the same as being spiritual? Is God energy? Is God love? Is God everything? I don't know. I was raised Christian. I still attend church on occasion. I read the Bible most days. But I still don't know the answers to any of these questions. I don't think we know until we "give up the ghost" as it is phrased in Genesis. I want to believe that God loves all people without exception but I do not see that in my Bible readings. I want to believe that God is merciful and forgiving but again, I don't see that in the Bible. So, I just live my life the best I can and if Heaven, Hell or something else awaits me, then I will know the answer then.
My "god" is energy. I know it exists, it connects us all, and it is eternal. Faith is not required. ;-)
Yea I feel the same way but I was raised in a very religious home , my foundation are rooted in the Christian doctrine, but over time be begun to see the loops. I would just like to hear people's views on this issue
To be honest I'm turned off by religious content on Steemit. If I see an intro post from an evangelical person, I skip right past it. It is not a subject that interests me. Maybe it does interest others though...

Yea it is , it's very complex also , given that we have been born into them and it have been carried down from generations to generations , as much as we would to believe that they are true to satisfy our soul search on where we come from and what happens after death, these religions have been densely politicized . It would be cool if you can share more of your opinion
I'll be more than happy. I did read about every religion. How comes that every religion is saying that there is only 1 God? If it's true then which religion is the true religion? And everything you said it's right. Sorry for late reply, still learning how to use steemit
Whatever congregation or religious you have, it always matter the bible says. Bible will be the bases of all beliefs within our religions.
