This is the Official Announcement for the creation of a new initiative brought to you by your local music lovers @vandigital & @djlethalskillz
Let's connect Steemers with a place to share and spread the good music on the Blockchain.
The Steemit Record Pool is where quality music is curated. There are no genre or style limitation and selections are purely based on individual curators taste and mood.
DJ's can provide either an "embedded" Audio or Video file in the post along with a short description of the song in your own words. Use the hashtag #recordpool for other users to search for posts and make sure you start your post title with Song of The Day
You are also free to add cover art and other images provided you credit the source.
We encourage DJ's and fans alike to resteem, upvote and comment on posts they like and engage in dialogue with the DJ and Music community on Steemit.

So guys, i would have to write a post? and then just hashtag recordpool? Is that how it works! Could i also share some of my own music at the same time?
@your.system thanks you for coming through, yes if u follow the mentioned instructions and example above in the description that should do, i recommend u do a search under #recordpool so it gives u a better idea and more examples of how the music curators are doing it. As for sharing ur own music usually i share my personal music under #music and #dsound i dont use record pool to promote personal music. What kind of music do u produce btw?
Thanks for the info, will definitely get into it! We produce heaps of different things really! So anything goes from dance music, to hip-hop to anything electronic. But currently we are releasing a record out soon that are primarily house - techno - electro. How about you??

I'm more into urban music production mainly hiphop and urban music. Btw i compiled this guide i think it might be useful to u check it out when u have the time hope it will assist u in your journey here, theres some super active techno groups in here u def should also link with that. @qsounds You can contribute by choosing one of your "Song of the Day" as per the examples in the post. Simply add the first hashtags as #recordpool #songoftheday and the other 3 up to you depending on the genre, artist and song you wanna share. Let me know if your in and we will guide you further. Kudos!
Will need to think about that, since I do like to keep my post titles similar format as I already do for months. I for sure will check #recordpool and #songoftheday tags. I personally like to see a bit more information in the post then a couple of lines about eg one track to show some extra effort by the poster. But that is personal taste and view towards Steemit posts and rewarding them :)
