❓ Riddle ❓

I want to do this a little differently. Rather than ask the riddle myself, I want to challenge you to present a riddle! You can do this either in your own post or in the comments here. Please use the tag randomcotd if doing your own post and leave a link to it here so we can all find it.

Here's the rules:

One riddle entry per person
No duplicate riddle entries will be allowed. Please check the comments and post entries in the randomcotd tag before presenting your riddle. If I catch any duplicate ones I'll let you know and you may submit another.

How to win upvotes for your riddle:

Once I've verified your entry isn't an accidental duplicate of someone else's, I'll upvote your post or comment containing the riddle with a small upvote to verify entry.

If someone solves your riddle within 7 days of your post or comment, they will receive a 50% upvote from me. You must confirm whether answers guessed are correct or not. I will also be guessing, but will not be upvoting my own comments. Only all of yours.

If no one, including me, guesses the answer to your riddle within 7 days, you get a 100% upvote from me! You will make a post on the 8th day after you get payout from your riddle post (or comment), and announce the answer. That post will receive the 100% vote.

Please, no math problems. They make my brain hurt.

You are walking through a tunnel. You come to an room at the end of the tunnel and enter. The door closes behind you and becomes part of the wall. No way back.

There are two doors on the other side of the room. There are no other exits. One door leads to safety and freedom. The other leads to certain death.

In front of each door stands a man. On the wall between the doors is a sign that tells you that you may ask one question. It can be to either man, but not to both.

One man will always tell the truth. The other man will always lie.

You cannot change your mind once you have selected a door.

What question do you ask?

Which door do you choose?

Ask either guard, Which door is the safe door? Then pick the other door than what he said.

Alright, here's the answer:

Walk up to either guard and ask him which door the other guard will tell you leads to safety. Whatever door he points at, choose the other one.

Why?

Well, you don't know which guard is which, but still, here's what will happen.

The one who tells the truth will truthfully tell you that the liar will tell you to choose the door that leads to death.
The liar will lie and tell you the truthteller will point you to the door that leads to death.
