Why it's a good time to delegate to the Qurator Project
As many of you know @gingerninja an I run the Qurator project.
The project's purpose is to give some long-term support to good quality content creators. We try our best to only include members who we feel are really trying to contribute quality content to the platform. We have a small group of users who review the accounts that apply. This normally takes a while but at least we feel we gave the person a fair chance.
I could go on and on about why Qurator is here to help individuals but let's stick to the point:
Delegation to @qurator.
We have the Tiered upvote system in place for our Qurites. You have to be a member to receive any upvotes from @qurator.
T1-2 can be achieved by upvoting the @qurator posts. T3-5 can be achieved by sending steem directly to the @qurator account or by delegating to the @qurator project.
Here is how the Tiers work:

 | 6 Steem sponsored lease = Tier 3 for 40 days or Delegate 300SP to @qurator | 10.8% |
 | 8 Steem sponsored lease = Tier 4 for 40 days or Delegate 400SP to @qurator | 12.9% |
 | 10 Steem sponsored lease = Tier 5 for 40 days or Delegate 500SP+ to @qurator | 15.1% |
And here are the current upvote weights and how much they are worth:

Tiers also stack so you can choose to upvote @qurator posts to get Tier 2.
Then delegate 300SP to get Tier 3.
T2+T3 = T5 - Now you will be in Tier 5
If you self-vote with 300SP even at 10 times a day you will earn around $0.40.
With Qurator even after curation you will get around $0.55-$0.60 per day per post if you are a Tier 5 member.
Keep in mind though
We do not want you to delegate only to think about yourself and good profits. Your delegation helps over 400+ other Qurator members. Sharing your support with 400+ others just like you.
We are not a get rich quick scheme, we truly do strive on giving long term support to those who do not want to use upvote bots all the time. One might say that sometimes we are more profitable than upvote bots since you do not have to keep paying us to get your daily upvote.
Anyway, my point is, share some of your SP and delegate to the Qurator project. It will not only benefit yourself but over 400+ other members as well.

This is a good initiative... If i understand you clearly, if i dont delegate, but i upvote the qurator comments when i see them at least 4 times a week, i will receive upvote 6.5% from qurator for my post? I saw this info in how tiers work... So i need some clarification. Thanks!

Once you are a member and you upvote the posts, not comments, then you will be able to be a Tier 2 members and get the 6.5% upvote.
This sounds really cool. I should be able to delegate a little something. Now that I've got a new series to work on, it would be cool to apply to the project. I'll get on chat soon.
You should really check it out. If you are looking for some investment delegation, then I suggest delegating to @qustodian(the @qurator pay4vote support bot). It does payouts of 90% of the SBD it earns. Pretty solid returns. I delegated 900 to it and get a payout every 8 hours. Check my wallet. =)
I'm in. Is the steem connect still the best way to delegate?
Edit: Done! 500 big ones delegated! I am still using this old and wonderful guide from @timcliff to delegate my powers.
