A Night At The Bar: Acrylic Painting
This is an acrylic painting from some time ago in which I wanted to paint the atmosphere in a bar. A lady all in red with a black hat stands next to the counter and drinks some red wine and holds a cigarette in the other hand. The smoke from the cigarette fills the already smoky room
You know the old saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”, well the same could be said about this acrylic painting by @gulugu. The details in this artwork is astounding and I don't know about you, but I'd LOVE to have this picture hanging in my home! I can almost feel the mood... and so many questions about this woman crossed my mind. Is she celebrating? Is she mourning? Look at her stoic profile!

Easy DIY Self-Watering System For Your Indoor Plants
I couldn’t help myself and started the season early, sowing some seeds inside and - once they had sprouted - putting the seedlings in the giant propagator I treated myself to... What I didn’t really think of, was that I would be leaving for France for a week this week... I had found a sweet lady who wanted to take care of the cats, but I found it too much to ask her to also take care of my precious plants all week long

The new and improved Qurator bot is here!
Why the new bot?
The current bot had a 24 hour timer built in, thus you can only get upvotes 24 hours apart. Missing that window and you might not get your upvote. This resulted in posts not getting upvotes. The old EDIT and UPDATE trick always worked its magic but was a bit of a hassle.
Out with the old, in with the new!
The new bot will reset a timer once day, this means if you post once a day you should get your upvote. There will also be less node issues! No more editing posts to ping the bot for your upvote. (More details to follow)
The new bot will be active withing the next 24 hours. We are busy getting everything ready and transferring databases. During this time both @qurator and @qurator-tier-0 will be offline. Please understand and be patient while we handle the necessary upgrades.
The bot is completely new and even though we did test it, there might still be some errors that we have to work out during the next few days.
@qurator-tier-0:
The lease for @qurator-tier-0 has been filled and it will be used to support the Tier 0 members. We had to do this since Steemit can't really upvote smaller than 0.5% and with our account growing the way it is we were neglecting those who participate and support Qurator. Now that the main @qurator account does not have to upvote T0 members our Voting Power will regenerate at a slow but steady rate, this in turn will mean better upvotes for all the supporters!

We all know that there are some awesome Steemians that created great challenges with cool prizes here on steemit. @stresskiller took it upon himself to make a really neat Steemit challenges calendar that he synced and integrated into Qurator's Discord Channel. New Tiers Update
Steemauto Curation Trail
We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.
Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprize for a lucky trailer. =P

I spoke to @scrooger and we have decided to let the bot run only qurator-tier-0 while the higher tier members will still have the old bot. This should ensure the Qurator supporters get an uninterrupted service while we take a look at the stability of the new bot

It's great to see that you got a new bot going! I didn't know about the update trick, so I have sometimes been waiting an hour or two to get it posted after the 24 hours window. I mostly post once a day, so this will be a lot more easy for me to use.
Ah bummer you didn't know about the update trick. Always hearing it float around in our Discord channel. Luckily with the new bot that will be something from the past and you can post any time of day! =)
Still working on it and we will be testing it on @qurator-tier-0 first before we make it go live on our main account.
