I've joined steemit back towards the end of August 2017.
I was just getting to learn about bitcoin, blockchain, and similar concepts, where I stumbled upon coinmarketcap and found steem.
When I read about the concept behind steem and steemit, something ticked in my mind .. this is a WINNER concept! and so my journey began..

I’m sitting in my vehicle warming it up, still in range of my home WIFI and ding off goes my Facebook messenger. It’s a local friend I’d not heard from in a while.
I started sharing with him what I’ve been up to since August 2016... We talked about the platform. I told him some of the pros and cons, cautioning him to expect to need to grow before getting any real success on the platform.

Flagging and down voting, or even reporting abuse to steemcleaners, is something EVERY steemit member has done or will eventually do in their steemit life.
There are positive and negative points to flagging another person; just as there are ways to counteract if you have been flagged for a less than legitimate reasoning. If you've been flagged or downvoted, feel free to share your views and instances on @chrismccron's post.

The bot needs a little break!
Note: Even though we grew Steem Power the current price of steem went down quite a bit. We plan on taking a 24 hour break to let our bot's Voting Power Recover a bit. This will happen on Sunday. So for 24 hours (00:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC SUNDAY) The bot will be sleeping and recovering some VP. NO upvotes will be going out in this scheduled break.

You may have noticed that your upvotes from @qurator packed a little bigger punch! @scrooger and @ethandsmith are now trailing the @qurator account and will be sending you some extra upvotes from our side as well. It's not much but every upvote counts!
You can also follow the trail and send upvotes to fellow Qurator members when @qurator upvotes them. To set up a Streemian account only takes a few minutes and is a great way to earn some extra curation.
We suggest NOT following the trail at 100% since we do not want to drain too much of your precious voting power. Play around with your percentage and if you see your voting power being drained too much you can simply lower your % in Streemian. If you have a lot of voting power to spare you can consider a larger %.
