My Way Of Celebrating Christmas
While @paps traditions don't include exchanging gifts and presents, he is taking a moment to thank people in his life, including his steemit life, at this time of year. Stop over to see who's on his “nice” list.
The media, Internet and Steemit got me looking at Christmas from different angles. Friends, family, sharing, giving, receiving, love and cheer everywhere. Those are the associations that come to my mind when I think about Christmas and I understand why everyone is so excited about this holiday around the world.
As you know we don't celebrate Christmas here in Israel, or at least not the way most of the world does

As parents we always want our children to achieve good learning achievement. For that then we need to pay attention so that our children are always preparing themselves with to study in school. Not only provide pocket money and other stationery, but we always motivate learning when at home and do homework thoroughly

Goodbye Facebook
We may rarely go on Facebook anymore, as we have found a new and better site to “hang out on”, but how many of us are actually DELETING our Facebook accounts? Just ask @eztechwin because he is... he has.. and his time is running out on the other social media website.

My obsession with a single website has finally come to an end and not because anyone advised me to.
I've been on social media for a very long time. I've been around technology for a long time. If you are not selling something on FB you are losing unfathomable amounts of money as far as opportunity cost goes

Review: Grammarly
We're all looking for ways for shortcuts and to be able to multi-task; all the while, still putting out quality writing. Come on over to @enjar's post on the review of the writing program “Grammarly”. Is it worth the cost? What are some of the Pro's and Cons of the program?
For quite a few months now I have been using the free version of Grammarly. It finds many of my common errors. It makes thing super-fast in a review phase that I’m not spending a lot of time on it. It catches quite a few things that my version of Microsoft Word disagrees with or misses

Upvote Comment Being Removed
The time has come for us to say goodbye to our upvote comment. In the past, it was a marketing tool to help Qurator grow and to let members know when Qurator upvoted. We will be hitting 500 members today and feel the upvote is no longer needed. A lot of members would agree to this as it does present some clutter in your blog.
How will you know if Qurator upvoted your post? We are currently working on our bot's code so that instead of waiting 24 hours for your next upvote, it will reset once a day. So if you post once a day you will still get our support.
We will however get a banner that members can add to the end of their blog. This will be designed soon within the next week or so.
The comment will stop going out in about 12 hours from now.

Xmas support from our upvote bot!
With the price of SBD going crazy we decided to give you a little boost from our support bot @qustodian. Until the 1st of January 2018 our bot will be giving out 3 (instead of 2.5) times the upvote to the amount of SBD you send him!
The bot is Qurator exclusive and will upvote all Qurites with an upvote of 3.0 times the worth of what you send it, up to $0.95!
Delegators will see a payouts of 90% of all SBD earned by the bot.

New Tiers Update
Streemian Trail Account is here!
You may have noticed that your upvotes from @qurator packed a little bigger punch! @scrooger and @ethandsmith are now trailing the @qurator account and will be sending you some extra upvotes from our side as well. It's not much but every upvote counts!
You can also follow the trail and send upvotes to fellow Qurator members when @qurator upvotes them. To set up a Streemian account only takes a few minutes and is a great way to earn some extra curation.
We suggest NOT following the trail at 100% since we do not want to drain too much of your precious voting power. Play around with your percentage and if you see your voting power being drained too much you can simply lower your % in Streemian. If you have a lot of voting power to spare you can consider a larger %.

i am happy with progress of steemit and i have only one issue that didnt get upvote untill i edit post so is it possible that once post become 24 hrs old then next vote auto get on post because sometimes i forget to edit or may be outside so so sometime miss it.
With the new code it will mean you can only get one upvote once a day. Regardless of when you edit it. Once upvoted you cannot get another upvote on that day. =) Will see how the coding comes along.
i am saying if i get vote today then next vote will get after 24 hrs but i will not get so i have to update post daily after 24 hrs and then only i get vote and if i not update or edit post manually then i will not receive vote from you.
With the new code we are trying to let it reset once a day. So if you post 11PM on Monday and 2am on Tuesday. Both posts will get an upvote. Our coder is on holiday though so might still be a while before we get the new code sorted.

Yes, in the past it was an indicator to see when last upvoted. Now with the new code it will mean that the upvote can only go out once a day regardless of how many posts you make. So if you post once or ten times a day. You can only get one upvote.
You can always view if @qurator upvoted by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the total amount of upvotes. =)
Good for you @extechwin, you go and delete facebook.
I personally HATE Facebook, but Steemit HAS NO REPLACEMENT
For the ability to have social interaction with your friends (where is my friends list in steemit? Oh wait! there isn't one)
Steemit has no GROUPS where my friends and I who share
Interests and values can post and comment without
Worrying about people outside the group seeing
Or criticising your posts.
I'm sorry, Steemit simply has not caught up with all the really
valuable aspects of Social Media in my opinion.
