Daily Curator #1 (29).jpg

Welcome to the 13th Edition of Photo Friday!

Welcome to the 13th Friday PHOTO Edition hosted by Qurator. Below you will find some unbelievable images captured by your fellow Qurites from all over the world! See what adventures they have shared with all of us! Don't forget to vote for your favorite and if you'd like to nominate your own image for next week's competition, make sure to comment #nominate below.

Note: some of you have been curated twice since the start of the Daily Qurator and some have been curated only once. As the Daily Qurator is gaining fame with every passing day, many new steemians are asking/will ask to join us. So, expect to see posts from new users for now. When the opportunity arises, posts from older users will be curated once again.

Each Friday we will select 5 Qurites and feature their photography in our Daily Qurator post. Each Qurite featured in this post needs to comment with their photo featured in this post. The user with the most upvotes on their comment (not money value) will win a Tier 5 membership for 30 days! The votes will be counted when this post reaches payout.

Want to take part in Photo Friday? NOMINATE! After you upvoted your favorite photo!

DO

Want to take part in the next Photo Friday? Sure you can! Simply comment in the comment section with #nominate.

We will then consider your account and look over your feed for any Photography related posts for the upcoming Photo Friday

DO NOT:

Post links and/or pictures of your most recent posts. We will not choose them. Why? Well, we want the nominees to also benefit from being in the Photo Fridayy Edition. If you give us a link now and we use it for the next issue of Photo Friday your post has most likely reached payout. That means not extra upvotes... We will select the most recent posts from your feed.

So instead, just include#nominatein your comment of this post (don't forget to vote for your favorite food post first).
We will take it from there and consider your feed for the next Photo Friday.

We hope this can spark some more interest in the photography community within Qurator. Hopefully to get more users to visit photography related blogs and appreciate your photography. Hopefully there will also be some nice rewards on your comment in this post.

We have made it easy for all participants by providing the links to their photos that they can just copy and paste into the comment section of this post to officially enter the competition!

PLEASE NOTE, ONLY THOSE FEATURED IN THIS POST MUST PASTE THE LINKS BELOW IN THE COMMENT SECTION.

Daily Birding 51

This Lesser Goldfinch comes in for a landing at the feeder. The other chatters, protesting the intrusion... The Lesser Goldfinch is smaller than the American Goldfinch. It also varies more in coloration, and can be green or black-backed. Females, juveniles, and wintering males can look similar, be aware of the size difference

Mid-air flight! Look at how @katysavage caught this amazing image! Almost looks like they are kissing.

Monomad Friday Challenge- Flowers

Delicate flower covered with small sparkling droplets. The picture of these pansies is for the #monomad photo challenge on Friday

Are those rain droplets or dew spotting up this beautiful flower? Wouldn't it be great if @nelinoeva shared the colored version with us? I would love to see the flower in all its vibrant glory!

@timspawlsphotography

Crab Spider Ambush!

I found this well camouflaged flower crab spider near Gilgil in Kenya. It was sitting on the petals of a pink flower waiting to ambush some unsuspecting insect that may come to look for a drink of nectar. Some of these remarkable little spiders have the ability to change colour to match the flowers they are hunting on

WOW! That crab spider really does start to blend in with its natural surroundings. Almost like he's a chameleon. I definitely don't want to come across this spider!

The Bulls-Eye

Yesterday was the first day in quite a while Omaha was blessed with Cumulus clouds of such varying shapes. lately it's just been cold and either completely clear, full cover or fake Contrail Cirrus Clouds. I was able to capture many hours of footage

If you look you can actually see the center of the target. Staring at the image long enough you can start to pick out the colors of the rainbow.

@iebalgamgelife

Denden Khung- Tonggeret- Katydid

This type of insect we call it in the Aceh language is Denden Khung , In Indonesian Tonggeret , English Katydid … This insect is very unique, can make a loud voice. His body is slightly bongsor and has a transparent wing. The position of his eyes is very far between the right eye and left... The color of this insect is black, blue, black and gray. Usually these insects appear at the end of the rainy season... I saw this insect one last time while still setting foot in junior high school

We've all heard katydids chirping on summer's evenings;but have you ever seen one this close up? You can almost feel its eyes staring at you!

Good luck to all the entries! May the best photo win!

Well done macro

Thank you mate. Well done on your win, that is a spectacular image!

I'm not a spider fan... lol - but this is amazing!
Good luck! :)

Thanks @ackhoo! Glad you like it :-)

Good macro!
What is very important in the macro - zone of sharpness is where it should be.
@timspawls My favorite here.
and #nominate

Thanks @narchuk. I still like to shoot my macro images with a very wide apature. You get a very narrow depth of field but I like the sharpness, fast shutter speeds and bokeh.
I am seriously considering doing some freshwater snorkeling this summer after seeing your images! ;-)

Good job on your win @timspawls!

Thank you Katy! :-)

Thank you for selecting my photo. What a thrill to be again in this competition!
Thank you @goldendawne for the kind comment. I snap the pictire in black and white only. I have other pictures of the same flower in colour.
Good luck everyone!

Beautiful photo. May I ask what editor you use? Thank you

Thank you!
It was not edited. I used for the first time the black and white option of my phone camera and made few shots. I only added the watermark.

1/235 f/1,7 3,71 mm

Your photo is awesome! It is like from another world.

Thank you for the compliment and information, my friend. Good luck

Very striking image and then the small droplets give it another quality again. Beautiful Neli. 🦋

Thank you :-)

I bet it looks just as beautiful in color too!

Nice one; trippy!

Thanks for the compliment, my friend.

Very cool... Love the moon posed with trees and clouds...
Good luck! :)

Thank you. It's actually the sun.

Beautifully composed! It's as if all of the trees are pointing to the moon.

Thank you my friend, it's actually the sun. I am blessed to have many tree's in my yard.

Saya menyebut nama hewan ini GARENG..! saya tidak tahu nama ilmiahnya. Hewan ini sudah sangat jarang terlihat.

Omg...denden khueng

incredible photos you share. Katydid unique insect species. Thanks for sharing @iebalgamge

when I was little when I found this beast I would put it in a box of matchsticks and it would lure this little beast to make it sound distinctive

Awesome! from the picture looks very natural, a large black insect stared at the photographer. Just so beautiful, I wish you a win

In American English this is called a Cicada. (Sic-ah-dah)

Waw! Amazing photo.. This type of insect is rare my brother. When I was a kid I often saw this insect. I used to make this insect as a toy because I like the sound it releases

Very good shooting. very awesome, happy to see the work of the nation's children. 😉😘

Wohho, thanks to everybody who voted on my landscape. Let the fun continues )
