Sometimes posts with less upvotes makes more money than posts with more upvotes

Sometimes posts with less upvotes makes more money than posts with more upvotes

The reason is because the people upvoting have more steampower.
So if you take 1000 minnow votes from people with very low steempower lets say 1000 steempower. Those 1000 votes will not even come close to the same payout as it would if you received one Whale vote.
The more steempower the more your vote is worth.

Yes, I believe that's true. It's all about steempower, it takes quite a bit of effort to increase your steempower.

It depends who is voting and how much voting power they have, when you vote there is a vote meter some vote with 100% other vote lower, it all depends how much steem power they are holding. hope this helps :)
