@anaman led off sharing his entry into the seven day black and white photo challenge. While the rules of the challenge don’t allow for an explanation of the photograph, @anaman was able to share with us that the photo was taken at the lab where he works and he told us about his job.

Wednesday Night is Pinball Night in Pittsburgh

@pinball-players was back with another post hot off the fingers of @steemitgraven as he shared with us about pinball night in Pittsburgh at the Kickback Pinball Cafe in Lawrenceville. Nicely written post of the sport of pinball.

Anytime you create content on the platform and earn from doing so, you’re mining crypto. That makes your earnings an investment. Investments only gain value if you hold them and allow them to grow.

His post sparked a discussion about bitcoin ATMs and how they work as well as the concept of arbitrage. It’s what you miss when you’re not with us, you never know what will get discussed.

@esaia.mystic posts about her journey though poor health and her coming to understand the inter-relationships between our diet, emotions and spiritual self. Being six months with child she also explored the often forgotten spiritual practice of eating the placenta after childbirth.

That subject sparked an interesting conversation in the chat. Surprisingly enough, the guys were not squeamish, which I was expecting when the topic started. A sure sign of adults in the room.

Beer Advent Calendar - December 14th

For anyone who felt the need for some fortification, @aksounder shared with us the beer of the day from his beer Advent calendar. I remember my parents giving us an advent calendar one year, all we got was some chocolate. Course I was a minor at the time.

@aksounder reviews the beer of the day and explores the beer’s origins. Nicely written and well worth the read.

@ethandsmith couldn’t join us this evening and he asked if I’d share this post for him. @sultnpapper is one of his favourite bloggers on Steemit and from the comments in the chat, a few others as well.

This post of @sultnpapper is about Cuero, Texas and the home of the Fighting Gobblers (turkeys). @sultnpapper chose this community to write a review about his BBQ place but likes to do some background on the community as well. It’s an interesting post and I can see why others in the chat like this writer as well.
