SteemCamp 2018 (Project Briefing)- Jacobite's Shows [Walk Me Through The Internet (WMTTI)]
Hello Steemians,
For the past 8 days I and my team have been behind close doors brainstorming on how best to promote the steem blockchain in underdeveloped countries.
It hasn't been an easy job I must confess.
Idea Briefing - #SteemCamp Creation
We came up with an idea ( #SteemCamp) that will attract youths all over the country (not just any youth but youths with creative minds, by this, values will always be added on the steem social blockchain.)
We intend to reach out to as many youths as possible by orgainising talent hunt, pageant contest and meetup in 6 states in NIgeria.
Each state was strategically selected base on their location on Nigeria map.
Idea Briefing - Audition Stage
During the auditon stage, all contestants will receive lectures on what the steem blockchain is and how to use steemit as a platform to showcase their skills at the same time earning incentives for creating valuable contentst.
This lecture will be done in each and every states we visit.
Idea Briefing - Welcome to Camp
After the audition, contestants with oustanding performance will be selected and voting will be casted online for who will make it to the Camp/Grand Finale.
The higher the vote a contestant secures, the higher his/her chances to make it to the Camp.
A handful of qualified contestants will be camped and trained by professionals in different fields.
Tasks will be given to them and other steem-engaging activities will be carried out.
These Camp activites will also make up their scores.
Idea Briefing - Grand Finale
The Grand Finale is planned to be the first of its kind as awards will be presented to outstanding steemians; steemians that have contributed to the growth of the steem blockchain among others.
The winners of the contest will be declared on the Grand finale and their Prices will be presented to them.
This event will be a blast.
Acheivement Thus Far
We have started working on how SteemCamp will become a success.
I @jacobite and @graface have designed graphics that will be needed for the event.
More designs are currently still being worked on.
@casweeney is at the moment erecting a befitting website for SteemCamp.
This website will give more insight on who we are, what we do and how we intend to run SteemCamp.
A section for the SteemCamp contest registration will also be created.
@michaelcj has been working acidiously on logistics.
Plans on where each states audition we be held, how the event will go etc are been handled by him.@nmalove is currently working on #SteemCamp publicity.
We intend to run some social media adverts, offine adverts and radio jiggles; everyone must hear about this great event.
**@stach led by @ejemai has been here providing us with neccessary advice and support.
All aimed at making SteemCamp a great success.
Budget
This project I must confess is a big project, fund that we will be needed to run this project is quite big too.
