I'm a horrible Dad! Happy Easter/April Fools!
I couldn't resist combining a good prank with Easter this morning. I have two boys who are getting too old for "little kid" Easter egg hunts. So I told them that I hid one gold egg out side that has $50 game stop gift card in it. Of course the reality being.... It does not exist.

So while they were out side hunting for the golden egg, I hid candy under their pillows.
After 15 minutes of hunting... The big reveal.

They were however happy to find out that since this holiday was a little mixed up, the Easter bunny delegated duties to the tooth fairy and there is indeed candy under their pillows. Whew...! I even got a "Thanks Dad!"

Awesome ! .. I got my kids to have a race in which halfway through the race there was a cup ( that was upside down ) filled with water on the floor. I told them the winner will be the person who can get to the cup the fastest and bring it to me.
I did the same thing to the wife. I put upside down cups of water on the counter and when she did the dishes ... water everywhere .....
They got a little upset once the water poured out and soaked them but laughed later about it.

This year was interesting because Easter and April fools day were on the same day.
Easter is a christian holiday that has morphed into commercialism.
April fools day is the fun one. On april 1st is the day to play jokes on people. :)

I also thought about wrapping brussle sprouts in the chocolate egg foil. hehe
Nah, grab the butterfinger eggs and put grapes inside. Far more believable at first glance.
Let's just say that I said that I didn't hide any eggs and my boy has a poor sense of humour. Brussle sprouts wrapped in foil would have been funny.
No pranks on this end today. But I do like the 'aw dad' look there. Not usually a big prank person, but for this day, it's always a gamer. Very creative, and kudos for still giving something out in the end. I'd like to have a dollar for all the oddities that're going to happen today, worldwide. Have a nice Easter.

Mustard! That's just mean!
Some do go a bit wide, in my book. The mustard is pretty bad, and expecting chocolate and getting an egg would be nasty too. Especially if it's a raw egg.
