A Time To Be With Friends

It Was Perfect Timing..

Friday was here and I was literally spent. I was excited to know that my wife and I had plans to spend her birthday with some good friends. We headed to one of our favorite places to drink and eat.. and did just that. Good food, good drink and good friends was just what I needed. I was drinking a local Porter ( okay, maybe a few of them lol) then ordered a mouth watering crab stuffed tilapia dish. Yummmmmmmm!!! Perfect.

In the middle and Surrounded by my wife and friends. I’ve known these people longer than I have not. I value each and every one of their friendships and respect them as beautiful, inspiring people.

Oh, And The Weekend Didn’t End There ..

Hit up my new hot spot for trying brews. A local tap house. I counted 78 beers on tap!! Sweet. Pinch me, I must be dreaming.

Today It Was In the 70’s ..

So I got the jeep out. Took the top off and hit a winery in order to just chill and enjoy the spring air. It was a bit chilly, and the wife did let me know about it. Don’t think she appreciated the jeep top being off. I was fine. Actually thought it was perfect weather for it. I now know one person disagrees, Lol. I didn’t get any picktures of it, but I did get a shot of the jeep and the grill after I got inspired to clean it. Of course while topping off the awesome day with a Guinness.. duhhhh. Hehe.

As if anyone cares. What a pain in the butt job, but it cooks so much better when I scrape all that nasty crap out of there. Fun fun and it’s done. Check!

My art work incorporates a wide variety of subject matter, including landscape, seascape, cityscape, and still life images. Not everything is art. Art is not everything, but it comes close. Art is everywhere and all the time. Art makes you experience the beauty of the world, the people in it, and the places we call home. Art itself is so influential that it can tell stories, show feelings, and express passion or fury. Art exists in addition to language; expression of sensations and thoughts, revealing a way of thinking too subtle and delicate for words.

For me art requires love, honesty and perseverance. In return, it reveals some personal, non-analyzable, and creative untamed passion. For the public, art with its magnificent beauty, improves mood and health and builds better human beings and communities. It engages the intellect, softens the heart, strengthens the soul and frees the spirit.
