Daily PhotoContest - Friday Portrait Photography - A working Angel at 2559 meters

I don't know the name of this pretty lady but I know she is from Seema village (2559 m) which lied towards Har Ki Doon trek. The life in this village is very tough and if anyone wants any kind of facilities than they have to climb all the way down to Taluka, which is almost 10 kms.
Till now there is no electricity, no mobile service and no medical facilities. I mean no basic facilities available.
This girl is carrying leaves for their animals. Luckily Seema village got one school which has only one teacher and the teacher always want to walk away from there because of harsh conditions.

Have you been at such remote village ever?

When I was on EBC trekk I went little off the standard route and visited similar villages. But I noticed that no matter how hard these people live, they always smile and look happy

Well said, the satisfaction seen of their faces. I mean they are real human beings. How was the EBC?

I was at January, last year. It was very cold. My girlfriend cought a flu so we didn't go all the way to the camp. Nevertheless iz was beautifull 12 days in Himalaya. Then we had one week in Kathmandu

Well said, It's not about summit or achieving anything instead it's about satisfaction. And Himalayas always here for us to give raw pleasure.
January, OMG. I remember one time I was in Leh in winter for trek, and It was -30 degrees over there. Didn't you get too much snow there?.
