Populous - Breaking “NOT OFFICIAL” News!

Hot off the press! Just out! – Well the news to some is a few days old but summarise here for those who have missed it. But before that just want to give a brief price review of PPT.

PPT Price Overview

PPT is unlike any other token out there and cannot be analysed using technical analysis or any forecasting tools available. Fibonacci patterns and Elliot waves will not work on PPT because PPT has been designed in such a way that it is for absolute use and not for speculation or trading purpose.

The past few weeks have shown PPT to be very resilient in the face of heavy selling pressures in the market even though PPT has been trending downwards slowly. One thing of note is that PPT is not volatile like others. There were sellers in the market but also many loyal PPT holders who helped keep the prices relatively stable.

Nevertheless PPT appear to have made its low a few days ago and now making a rebound with price now back above $3.00 as I post. However, there may be some more selling pressure before the platform launch as more re-distribution of PPT takes place.

Business Over “Yum Cha”!

When will you be on the big exchanges? Why aren’t you responding to requests for interviews? Why is The Marketing Eye so quiet? Superficial questions being asked repeatedly over and over again.

People do not see the big picture and instead are fixated on hyping the price. There is a strategy in play and it is being played out before our very eyes. Do the do’s that Populous is doing and don’t do the don’ts that others have pursued.

Steve is currently out of the UK doing/concluding business and this tells me he has more or less taken care of business in the UK. This is good news without announcing it because the UK is basically a done deal being so close to beta launch. As the saying goes “business come before pleasure” and Populous is certainly taking care of business.

(Steve didn’t go “Yum Cha” the first day he was there, so hopeful it was on his itinerary)

News Galore!

During his time out of the UK, Steve popped into Slack to share some of the news he had and it was all good.

Invoice factoring Platform Release

The invoice factoring platform utilising PPT is scheduled for release sometime between now and end of November. Tremendous progress have been made and is ahead of schedule. The platform could be launched earlier than planned as a result but I would take as much time as needed to ensure the launch is perfect. However, not being an insider I would not know the potential threats from competitors in holding back an early launch.

Data Platform Release

Now this has come as a total surprise because we are told that a separate team have been working in stealth at the same time as the invoice factoring platform to code the data platform. The data platform is the platform where the XBRL tokens will be used. Since it is an integral part of invoice financing it will be released at the same time as the invoice factoring platform. Note that it is a data platform and not a credit rating assessment platform. This lends credence to my conjecture about use of the XBRL tokens and it appears that the XBRL tokens are used not only to buy credit reports but to buy XBRL data.

Contrary to some belief the XBRL tokens are scheduled for release to suit Populous’s time frame and not to disrupt the market. The timeframe will quite possibly coincide with the beta launch of the invoice factoring platform and the data agency platform. There is a general lack of understanding in the used of the XBRL tokens where everyone just consider it free money. Like the PPT tokens the XBRL tokens are for actual use so they are not just a promotional gimmick. Since the XBRL reporting format is on a global scale, XBRL tokens will also be global in nature.

Insurance

A major stumbling block which Steve first encountered was the cost of buying insurance and without insurance in place invoice factoring cannot go ahead. This appears to have been resolved for the Hong Kong operation and for the jigsaw pieces to fall in place so quickly it would have to be someone familiar to Populous with an intimate knowledge of the Asian market. I am guessing Euler Hermes with their expertise and worldwide reach.

“We have a Hong Kong office”

A nice start for a startup which have not even started up yet! Things have certainly been moving very fast and I imagine behind the scenes to be hectic. An office cannot just be set up on a visit to the city. A lot of planning would have to go into this with a lot of government applications and procedures to conform to before being given a license to operate. This was in the planning for a very long time and with perfect timing now coming to fruition.

Head of the Hong Kong Office

Along with the Hong Kong Office will come with it a Head of the Office. Things are certainly moving very fast and this just indicates the scale of things and the speed at which it is all happening. Headhunting would have been in progress for sometime because not just anyone can be made Head of Office. Interviews, selection and notice of appointment takes time.

CHINA IS A GO!

The question that everyone has been asking was the China question. If the timing is right and everything is in place by the time of the beta launch then expect to be able to be buying Chinese invoices. Quite possibly the invoices will not be priced in the Chinese Yuan but in US dollars or Hong Kong dollars so don’t be surprised if you do not see Yuan invoices.

I just can’t wait to see what other surprises or waiting in stored for all of us.

In Conclusion

All the good news without a big exchange in sight and interviews with YouTube personalities (except the one by Clif High). Populous must be doing something wrong! The information given is also very telling in that the start of the marketing drive is about to begin. Why give out information now and not before? It can only mean that all the pieces are now more or less in place.

No doubt that for things to suddenly fall into place so quickly in Asia, Populous is getting help from wealthy friends in high places. Not only help with setting up of the office but also with filling of the liquidity pool to buy invoices. After all China is the largest invoice factoring market in the world.

If the China story is confirmed then the beta launch would be huge. It was only expected that the UK factoring market would be available on launch but to launch together with the China market would be a mind-blowing thought. The market capitalization of PPT will go through the roof and today’s PPT price will be a bargain which will not be revisited again. This will make my price estimation based on the Luxure Global Citizen deal look like a drop in the ocean.

PPT holders have bought into two company for the price of one and I would say this is another first in the industry. Which other ICO can you say “buy one and get one free” and I hazard a guess that maybe there are more freebies to come.

The launch of Populous will likely be a defining moment in blockchain history and Populous will become the first company on the blockchain that demonstrates actual real world use. Populous will be the poster boy of blockchain technology and be known as the trailblazer in the crypto-world. That is name recognition!

The news you read here are tidbits from Slack so do not take anything you read here as gospel. Only when the news officially comes from the horse’s mouth that you can say it is final because between now and then thing can change.
